14.REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE ASSY
a. Remove the 4 bolts, nuts and 2 gaskets from the exhaust manifold.
b. Remove the exhaust pipe assy.
15.REMOVE FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR NO. 1
a. Remove the 4 bolts and heat insulator No. 1.
16.REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR
a. Remove the 2 bolts and heat insulator.
17.REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY
a. Using SST, loosen the adjusting nut until it can be turned by hand.

8.INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSY LH
a. Install the axle hub sub-assy LH with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 69 N.m (700 kgf.cm, 51 ft.lbf)

13.INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Connect the connector.
14.INSTALL FRONT WHEELS
Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)
15.INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT (See ADJUSTMENT
)
16.CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (See TEST MODE PROCEDURE
)

a. Remove the bolt and separate the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
b. Disconnect the connector.

5.REMOVE FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSY LH (See REPLACEMENT
)
6.REMOVE STEERING KNUCKLE LH
a. Remove the upper side of the clip and nut.
b. Using SST, remove the steering knuckle LH from the upper suspension arm.

9.INSTALL SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE
a. Install the speed sensor with the bolt.
b. Connect the connector.
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

2.SEPARATE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR LINK SUB-ASSY REAR
a. Place matchmarks on the height control sensor link and bracket.
b. Remove the nut from the height control sensor link.

3.REMOVE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH
a. Remove the nut, and separate the stabilizer link assy LH.
HINT:
If the ball
joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon wrench (6 mm) to hold the stud.

8.SEPARATE SPEED SENSOR REAR LH
a. Remove the bolt and separate the speed sensor from the rear axle carrier.
