Slightly loosen the wheel nuts
(one turn).
Turn the tire jack portion “A” by
hand until the notch of the jack is
in contact with the jack point.
The jack point guides are located
under the rocker panel. They indicate
the jack point positions.
Raise the vehicle until the tire is
slightly raised off the ground.
Remove all the wheel nuts and
the tire.
When resting the tire on the ground,

Remove the wheel ornament by
pushing from the reverse side.

CAUTION
â– Replacing a flat tire
â—ŹObserve the following precautions.
Failure to do so may result in serious injury:
• Do not try to remove the wheel ornament by hand. Take due care in handling
the ornament to avoid unexpected personal injury.
• Do not touch the disc wheels or the area around the brakes immediately after
the vehicle has been driven.
After the vehicle has been driven the disc wheels and the area around the
brakes will be extremely hot. Touching these areas with hands, feet or other
body parts while changing a tire, etc. may result in burns.
â—ŹFailure to follow these precautions could cause the wheel nuts to loosen and the
tire to fall off, resulting in death or serious injury.
• Never use oil or grease on the wheel bolts or wheel nuts.
Oil and grease may cause the wheel nuts to be excessively tightened, leading
to bolt or disc wheel damage. In addition, the oil or grease can cause the
wheel nuts to loosen and the wheel may fall off, causing a serious accident.
Remove any oil or grease from the wheel bolts or wheel nuts.
• Have the wheel nuts tightened with a torque wrench to 140 N•m (14.3 kgf•m,
103 ft•lbf) as soon as possible after changing wheels.
• Do not attach a heavily damaged wheel ornament, as it may fly off the wheel
while the vehicle is moving.
• When installing a tire, only use wheel nuts that have been specifically designed
for that wheel.
• If there are any cracks or deformations in the bolt screws, nut threads or bolt
holes of the wheel, have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus dealer
or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.

Remove any dirt or foreign mat-
ter from the wheel contact sur-
face.
If foreign matter is on the wheel con-
tact surface, the wheel nuts may
loosen while the vehicle is in motion,
causing the tire to come off.
Install the spare tire and loosely
tighten each wheel nut by hand
by approximately the same
amount.
Turn the wheel nuts until the washers
come into contact with the disc wheel.
Lower the vehicle.
Firmly tighten each wheel nut two
or three times in the order shown
in the illustration.

CAUTION
â– After using the tools and jack
Before driving, make sure all the tools and jack are securely in place in their stor-
age location to reduce the possibility of personal injury during a collision or sudden
braking.
NOTICE
â– When replacing the tires (vehicles with the tire pressure warning system)
When removing or fitting the wheels, tires or the tire pressure warning valve and
transmitter, contact any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly quali-
fied and equipped professional as the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter
may be damaged if not handled correctly.
â– To avoid damage to the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters
When a tire is repaired with liquid sealants, the tire pressure warning valve and
transmitter may not operate properly. If a liquid sealant is used, contact any autho-
rized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional
or other qualified service shop as soon as possible. Make sure to replace the tire
pressure warning valve and transmitter when replacing the tire. ( ď‚®P. 508)

LS600h/LS600hL_EE(OM50G20E)
If you have a flat tire (vehicles without a spare tire)
Your vehicle is not equipped with a spare tire, but instead is equipped
with an emergency tire puncture repair kit.
A puncture caused by a nail or screw passing through the tire tread can
be repaired temporarily with the emergency tire puncture repair kit.
CAUTION
â– If you have a flat tire
Do not continue driving with a flat tire.
Driving even a short distance with a flat tire can damage the tire and the wheel
beyond repair. Driving with a flat tire may cause a circumferential groove on the
side wall. In such a case, the tire may explode when using the emergency tire punc-
ture repair kit, resulting in death or serious injury.

â—ŹStop the vehicle in a safe place on a hard, flat surface.
â—ŹSet the parking brake.
â—ŹShift the shift lever to P.
â—ŹStop the hybrid system.
â—ŹTurn on the emergency flashers. ( ď‚®P. 546)
â—ŹCheck the degree of the tire damage.
A tire should only be repaired
with the emergency tire punc-
ture repair kit if the damage is
caused by a nail or screw passing
through the tire tread.
• Do not remove the nail or
screw from the tire. Removing
the object may widen the
opening and disenable emer-
gency repair with the kit.
• To avoid sealant leakage, move
the vehicle until the area of the
puncture, if known, is posi-
tioned at the top of the tire.

â– A flat tire that cannot be repaired with the emergency tire puncture repair kit
In the following cases, the tire cannot be repaired with the emergency tire puncture
repair kit. Contact any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified
and equipped professional.
â—ŹWhen the tire is damaged due to driving without sufficient air pressure
â—ŹWhen the tire lost air pressure due to a crack or damage in the tire sidewall
â—ŹWhen the tire is visibly separated from the wheel
â—ŹWhen the cut or damage to the tread is 4 mm (0.16 in.) long or more
â—ŹWhen the wheel is damaged
â—ŹWhen 2 or more sharp objects, such as nails or screws, have passed through the
tread on a single tire
â—ŹWhen there is more than one hole or cut in the damaged tire
â—ŹWhen the sealant has expired
