phone.

end of this teach-in process.
R brakepads, brake discs and tires that are
either new or ha vebeen replaced only ach‐
ie ve optimum braking ef fect and grip af ter
se veral hundred kilom eters of driving. Com‐
pensate forth ere duced braking ef fect by
applying greaterfo rc eto the brake pedal. Note

saf ety functions are restricted or no longer

sy stem and the brake forc e boosting, for

fo rc eto steer and brake. #

th eve hicle free from snow when the
engine or thest ationary heater are run‐

Open a window on the windward side of
th eve hicle toensure an adequate sup‐

due tobeing under the influence of alco‐
hol and drugs while driving
Driving when under the influence of alcohol
and/or drugs is an extreme lydangerous
combination. Even small quantities of alcohol
or drugs may af fect your reflexe s, perception
and judgment.
The probability of a serious or even fata l acci‐
dent greatly inc reases if you drive when
under the influence of alcohol or drugs. #

mission position 005Bor005C.
R if all vehicle conditions for an auto matic
engine stop are met.
The 00D6 symbol appears in the multifunction
display when theve hicle is stationar y.
The engine is restar ted automatically if:
R youre lease the brake pedal in transmission
position 005Bwhen the HOLD function is not
active.
R you shift from transmission position 005D.
R you en gage transmission position 005Bor005E.
R you depress the accelera tor pedal.
R youch ange theve hicle le vel.
R you open or close the soft top.
R an automatic engine start is necessar y.
If th e engine was switched off bythe ECO start/
st op function and you lea vetheve hicle, a warn‐
