1. Rotate the steering wheel with a slightly from side-to-side to access and
remove the mountin

< < B > > STEERING LOCK CYLINDER REMOVAL 1. Insert the key in the steering lock cylinder and turn it to the "ACC" position.
2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver pull the steering lock cylinder toward
you

INSPECTION < UP TO DECEMBER 2003 > IGNITION SWITCH CONTINUITY CHECK Disconnect ignition switch connector C-308 without removing the ignition switch
and steering lock cylinder. Then check the continuity.

KEY REMINDER SWITCH CHECK Check for continuity between terminal 4 and terminal 9.

and steering lock cylinder. Then check the continuity.
