Warning triangle (stowing)

Before leaving your vehicle to set up and install the triangle, put on your high visibility vest.

The dimensions o
f the triangle (once folded) or its storage box must be:

High load retaining net
Hooked onto the special upper and lower
fixings, this allows the use of the entire loadingvolume up to the roof:
- behind the front seats (row 1) when the rear seats are folded.
- behind the rear seats (row 2).


Never reposition the rear seats if thenet's roller is attached to the backs of the folded seats. )

Driving
When you have identified a parking space:
)Put the gear lever in position A.)Press button Ato star t the system. )Operate the direction indicator on the
side where the space is to be measured;
a message is displayed and the warning lamp flashes to confirm that measurement is in progress. )During measurement, go for ward the length of the space, at a speed less than
12 mph (20 km/h), to prepare for your manoeuvre.)Once the measurement has beencompleted, the system informs you of
the level of difficulty of the manoeuvre
by a message in the multifunction screen accompanied by an audible signal.


The system displays one of the following messages:
Parking possible
Parking difficult
Parking not advised


If the lateral distance between your vehicle and the parking space is toogreat, the system may not be able tomeasure the space.


The system remains available after each measurement and can therefore measure several spaces in succession.
In poor or wintry weather, ensure thatthe sensors are free of dir t, ice or snow.
The parking space sensor system deactivates the front parking sensorswhen measuring forwards.
If there is a fault, have the system checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.
The s
ystem switches itself off automatically:


- when you engage reverse gear,

- when
you switch off the ignition,

- if measuring is not requested,

- within five minutes of switching on thesystem,

- if the vehicle speed exceeds the threshold

f 45 mph (70 km/h) for one minute.

Safety




The driver must ensure that passengers usethe seat belts correctly and that they are allrestrained securely before setting off.
Wherever you are seated in the vehicle, always fasten your seat belt, even for short journeys.
Do not interchange the seat belt buckles as they will not fulfil their role fully.
The seat belts are fitted with an inertia reel permitting automatic adjustment of the length of the strap to your size. The seat belt isstowed automatically when not in use.
Before and after use, ensure that the seatbelt is reeled in correctly.
The lower par t of the strap must be positioned as low as possible on the pelvis.
The upper par t must be positioned in the hollow of the shoulder.
The inertia reels are fitted with an automatic locking device which comes into operation inthe event of a collision, emergency braking or if the vehicle rolls over. You can release the device by pulling firmly on the strap and releasing it so that it reels in slightly.
Recommendations for children
Use a suitable child seat if the passenger is less than 12 years old or shor ter than one
and a half metres.Never use the same seat belt to secure more than one person. Never allow a child to travel on your lap.

In order to be effective, a seat belt must:


- be tightened as close to the body as possible,


- be pulled in front of you with a smooth movement, checking that it does nottwist,

- be used to restrain only one person,

- not bear any trace of cuts or fraying,

- not be converted or modified to avoidaffecting its per formance.
In accordance with current safetyregulations, for all repairs on your vehicle, go to a qualified workshop with the skills and equipment needed, which a PEUGEOT dealer is able to provide.
Have your seat belts checked regularly by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop, particularly if the straps show signs of damage.
Clean the seat belt straps with soapywater or a textile cleaning product, sold by PEUGEOT dealers.
After folding or moving a seat or rear benchseat, ensure that the seat belt is positioned and reeled in correctly.
In the event of an impact
Depending on the nature and seriousness of the impact
, thepretensioning device may be deployedbefore and independently of the airbags.Deployment of the pretensioners isaccompanied by a slight discharge of harmless smoke and a noise, due to theactivation of the pyrotechnic car tridge incorporated in the system. In all cases, the airbag warning lampcomes on.Following an impact, have the seat belts system checked, and if necessary replaced,by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.

In the event of an accident, the high voltageis disconnected automatically.

(hills, buildings, tunnels, basement car parks...) block reception, including in RDS mode. This phenomenon is normal and does not indicate
a fault with the audio system.
The aerial is absent or has been dama
ged (for example when goingthrough a car wash or into an underground car park). Have the aerial checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.

The station is not received or its name has changed in the list.
Some radio stations send other information in place of their name(the title of the song for example).
