PRESENT
OR STOREDACTUATOR1.DEF: Actuator motor fault
NOTESConditions for applying the fault finding procedure to stored faults:
If the fault appears as present after:
–the fault has been cleared,
–the ignition is switched off and on again, then the dipped headlights are switched on.
Park the vehicle facing a wall. Switch off the ignition. Switch on the ignition and turn on the dipped headlights.
Run command AC012 Check actuator high and low positions to make sure that the actuators are working
properly.
Check the lens unit which does not initialise by doing the following.
Check the condition of the computer connections and the actuator connections in the headlights.
Check the continuity and for the absence of interference resistance between:
computer connector track 7track 2 of the actuator connector in the right-
hand headlight
computer connector track 7track 2 of the actuator connector in the right-
hand headlight
Track 1 of the actuator connector vehicle earth
Track 3 of the actuator connector + after ignition feed
If one or more of these checks fails, replace the defective adjustment motor(s).

Completed
NOTESThere must be no present or stored faults.
Special notes: The vehicle must be stationary, parked on a level surface with a driver
behind the wheel and the fuel tank full.
Not completedStatus ET001 must indicate not done if the computer has not yet been calibrated
and the vehicle reference heights have not been programmed.
If status ET001 remains stuck on the "not done" status, run the full fault finding procedure
because a component may be defective.
CompletedStatus ET001 must indicate Done if the computer has been calibrated and the vehicle
reference heights have been programmed.
This is normal operation status.
