AVERTISSEMENT
■Précautions concernant les coussins gonflables SRS
● Ne suspendez aucun cintre ou objets durs aux crochets à vêtemen ts. En
cas de déploiement des coussins gonflables rideau SRS, tous ces objets
pourraient se transformer en projectiles et causer des blessure s graves,
voire mortelles.
● Si un cache en vinyle recouvre la partie où le coussin gonflabl e de genoux
pour conducteur SRS se déploie, veillez à l'enlever.
● N’utilisez aucun accessoire de siège qui couvrirait les zones de déploie-
ment des coussins gonflables latéraux SRS et du coussin gonflable
d'assise SRS, car il risquerait de gêner le déploiement des cou ssins gon-
flables. De tels accessoires peuvent empêcher les coussins gonflables
latéraux et le coussin gonflable d’assise de fonctionner correc tement,
désactiver le dispositif ou entraîner le déploiement accidentel des cous-
sins gonflables latéraux et du coussin gonflable d’assise, entr aînant la
mort ou des blessures graves.
● Ne faites pas subir de chocs ou de pressions excessives à la zo ne renfer-
mant les composants de coussin gonflable SRS.
En effet, cela pourrait entraîner un fonctionnement anormal des coussins
gonflables SRS.
● Ne touchez aucun composant du système immédiatement après le
déploiement (gonflage) des coussins gonflables SRS, car ils peu vent être
chauds.
● Si vous avez des difficultés à respirer après le déploiement des coussins
gonflables SRS, ouvrez une porte ou une vitre pour faire entrer de l’air
frais, ou bien descendez du véhicule si cela ne présente pas de danger.
Essuyez tout résidu dès que possible afin d’éviter d’éventuelle s irritations
de la peau.
● Si les parties renfermant les coussins gonflables SRS, telles q ue la garni-
ture du volant et les garnitures de montants avant et arrière, sont abîmées
ou craquelées, faites-les remplacer par votre concessionnaire T oyota.
● Ne placez rien sur le siège du passager avant, comme un coussin par
exemple. Cela a pour conséquence de répartir le poids du passag er sur
toute la surface du siège, ce qui empêche le capteur de détecter correcte-
ment le poids du passager. Il en résulte que les coussins gonfl ables avant
SRS du passager avant risquent de ne pas se déployer en cas de colli-
sion.

■Modification et mise au rebut des éléments du système de coussi ns
gonflables SRS
Consultez votre concessionnaire Toyota avant de mettre votre vé hicule au
rebut ou de procéder à l'une des modifications suivantes. Les coussins gon-
flables SRS peuvent être défaillants ou se déployer (se gonfler) accidentel-
lement, provoquant la mort ou de graves blessures.
● Installation, dépose, démontage et réparation des coussins gonf lables
SRS
● Réparations, modifications, démontage ou remplacement du volant, du
tableau de bord, de la planche de bord, des sièges ou de leur g arniture,
des montants avant, latéraux et arrière ou des rails latéraux d e toit
● Réparations ou modifications des ailes avant, du pare-chocs ava nt ou des
flancs de l’habitacle
● Installation d’un protège-calandre (pare-buffle, pare-kangourou , etc.), de
chasse-neiges, de treuils ou d'une galerie de pavillon
● Modifications du système de suspension du véhicule
● Installation d’appareils électroniques, tels qu’un émetteur/réc epteur radio
mobile ou un lecteur CD
● Aménagements de votre véhicule pour une personne atteinte d’un handi-
cap physique

●If you lose your keys or mechanical keys, new genuine keys can be made
by your Toyota dealer. ( P. 127)
●If you lose your electronic keys, the risk of vehicle theft inc reases signifi-
cantly. Contact your Toyota dealer immediately. ( P. 129)
●Is the electronic key battery weak or depleted? (P. 539)
●Is the power switch in ON mode?
When locking the doors, turn the power switch off. ( P. 232)
●Is the electronic key left inside the vehicle?
When locking the doors, make sure that you have the electronic key on
your person.
●The function may not operate properly due to the condition of t he radio

●Is the child-protector lock set?
The rear door cannot be opened from inside the vehicle when the lock is
set. Open the rear door from outside and then unlock the child-protector
lock. ( P. 133)

moon roof open?
