DESCRIPTION
When the stop light switch is turned on, current flows to the stop lights to illuminate them.
WIRING DIAGRAM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
(a) Remove the STOP fuse from the instrument panel
junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1

(a) Remove the HEAD LL fuse and HEAD RL fuse from the
engine room No. 2 relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance:
Below 1

(a) Remove the headlight relay from the engine room No. 2
relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.
Standard resistance
NG
OK
(a) Remove the headlight bulbs (LOW).
(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal
2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that
the bulb illuminates.
OK:
Bulb illuminates.

the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the relays.

(b) Measure the resistance of the relays.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and press the
intelligent tester main switch ON.
(c) Select the item below in the ACTIVE TEST and then
check the relay operation.

Front fog light comes on.

(a) Check that the taillight comes on when the light control
switch is on (TAIL).
OK:
Taillight comes on.

(a) Remove the FR FOG fuse from the instrument panel
junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance:
Below 1

(a) Remove the fog light bulb.
(b) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal
2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 1, then check that
the bulb illuminates.
OK:
Bulb illuminates.

generate a control command, and then check that the
doors lock / unlock.

relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance.

(a) Disconnect the IH and IE junction block connectors.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side
connector.
