REMONTAGE ET MONTAGE
Ensemble fourche avant
1. Laver tous les éléments dans un
solvant propre.
2. Monter:
Tige d’amortisseur 1
Au tube plongeur 2.
ATTENTION:
Pour monter l’ensemble de tige
d’amortisseur dans le tube plongeur,
tenir le tube interne de biais. Si le tube
plongeur est tenu verticalement, la
tige d’amortisseur peut y tomber,
endommageant le clapet.
3. Monter:
Rondelle en cuivre 1
Joint torique 2
Soupape de base 3
Au tube interne 4.
4. Serrer:
Clapet de base 1
N.B.:
Utiliser la poignée de tige d’amortis-
seur 2 pour bloquer la tige d’amortis-
seur 3.
Appliquer du LOCTITE sur le file-
tage du clapet de base.

MONTAGGIO ED INSTALLA-
ZIONE
Gruppo forcella anteriore
1. Lavare tutti i pezzi in un solvente
pulito.
2. Installare:
Asta pompante 1
Al tubo di forza 2.
ATTENZIONE:
Per installare l’asta pompante sul
tubo di forza, mantenere inclinato il
tubo di forza. Se il tubo di forza viene
tenuto verticalmente, l’asta pompante
potrebbe cadervi dentro danneg-
giando la valvola interna.
3. Installare:
Rondella di rame 1
O-ring 2
Valvola base 3
Sul tubo di forza 4.
4. Serrare:
Valvola base 1
NOTA:
Utilizzare un utensile di blocco
dell’asta pompante 2 per bloccare
l’asta pompante 3.
Applicare LOCTITE® sulla filettatura
della valvola di base.

HINWEIS:
Gabelöl auf das Standrohr auftra-

Beim Einbau des Dichtrings eine
mit Gabelöl bestrichene Vinylfolie
a verwenden, um die Dichtringlip-
pen zu schützen.
Den Dichtring mit zur Achshalte-
rung weisenden Herstelleranga-
ben einbauen.
7. Montieren:
Kolbenbuchse 1
HINWEIS:
Die Kolbenbuchse auf die Nut im
Standrohr montieren.
8. Montieren:

Contre-écrou 2

N.B.:
Installer le guide de ressort avec
l’encoche a orientée vers le haut.
Le filetage b étant orienté vers le
haut, serrer le contre-écrou à fond à la
main sur la tige d’amortisseur.
6. Monter:

N.B.:
Appliquer de l’huile de fourche sur le
tube plongeur.
Lors de l’installation de la bague
d’étanchéité, utiliser une feuille plasti-
que a enduite d’huile de fourche pour
protéger la lèvre de la bague d’étan-
chéité.
Installer la bague d’étanchéité en
veillant à placer les marques d’usine
ou les numéros du côté du support
d’axe.
7. Monter:
Bague coulissante de piston 1
N.B.:
Installer la bague coulissante de piston
sur la fente du tuyau plongeur.
8. Monter:
Fourreau 1
Sur le tube plongeur 2.5. Installare:
Guida molla 1
Controdado 2
Sull’asta pompante 3.
NOTA:
Installare la guida della molla con il
taglio a rivolto verso l’alto.
Con la filettatura b rivolta verso
l’alto, serrare completamente manual-
mente il controdado sull’asta pom-
pante.
6. Installare:
Guarnizione parapolvere 1
Anello di arresto 2
Paraolio 3
Rondella piana 4
Metallo di scorrimento 5
Sul tubo di forza 6.
NOTA:
Applicare olio per forcella al tubo di
forza.
Quando si installa il paraolio, utiliz-
zare una sede in vinile a con appli-
cato olio per forcelle per proteggere il
labbro del paraolio.
Installare il paraolio con il simbolo o il
numero di fabbricazione rivolti verso
il lato del supporto dell’asse.
7. Installare:
Metallo del pistone 1
NOTA:
Installare il metallo del pistone sulla fes-
sura sul tubo di forza.
8. Installare:
Fodero 1
Sul tubo di forza 2.

nella scanalatura nel fodero.
12. Installare:

Applicare grasso a base di sapone di litio
sul tubo di forza.

13. Check:
Inner tube smooth movement
Tightness/binding/rough spots →
Repeat the steps 2 to 12.
14. Compress the front fork fully.
15. Fill:
Front fork oil
Until outer tube top surface with recom-
mended fork oil 1.
ACHTUNG:CAUTION:
Be sure to use recommended fork oil. If
other oils are used, they may have an
excessively adverse effect on the front
fork performance.
Never allow foreign materials to enter the
front fork.
Recommended oil:
Suspension oil “01”
16. After filling, pump the damper rod 1
slowly up and down more than 10 times
to distribute the fork oil.
17. Fill:
Front fork oil
Until outer tube top surface with recom-
mended fork oil once more.
18. After filling, pump the outer tube 1 slowly
up and down (about 200 mm (7.9 in)
stroke) to distribute the fork oil once
more.
NOTE:
Be careful not to excessive full stroke. A stroke
of 200 mm (7.9 in) or more will cause air to
enter. In this case, repeat the steps 15 to 18.

13. Kontrollieren:
Leichtgängigkeit des Stand-
rohres Schwergängigkeit →
Die Schritte 2 bis 12 wieder-
holen.
14. Die Teleskopgabel ganz zu-
sammendrücken.
15. Befüllen:
Gleitrohr
(bis zum Rand mit Öl 1 der
empfohlenen Sorte)
ACHTUNG:
Ausschließlich Öl der empfohle-
nen Sorte verwenden, um die
richtige Funktion der Teleskop-
gabel zu gewährleisten.
UNTER KEINEN UMSTÄNDEN
Fremdkörper in die Teleskopga-
bel eindringen lassen.
Empfohlene Ölsorte
Gabelöl “01”
16. Nach dem Befüllen der Gabel
muß das Dämpferrohr 1
mehrmals (mindestens 10
Mal) ein- und ausgefedert wer-
den, damit sich das Gabelöl
verteilt.
17. Befüllen:
Gleitrohr
(bis zum Rand mit Öl der
empfohlenen Sorte)
18. Danach muß das Standrohr 1
langsam um maximal 200 mm
ein- und ausgefedert werden,
damit sich das Gabelöl verteilt.
HINWEIS:
Wird das Standrohr mehr als
200 mm ein- oder ausgefedert, tritt
Luft ein. In diesem Fall die Schritte
15 bis 18 wiederholen. 13. Contrôler:
Mouvement régulier du tube
plongeur
Raideur/coincement/point dur
→ Répéter les étapes du 2 à 12.
14. Comprimer la fourche avant com-
plètement.
15. Remplir:
Huile de fourche avant
Jusqu’au sommet du fourreau
avec l’huile de fourche recom-
mandée 1.
ATTENTION:
Toujours utiliser l’huile de fourche
recommandée. Si d’autres huiles
sont utilisées, elles peuvent avoir un
effet nuisible sur le fonctionnement
de la fourche avant.
Ne jamais laisser de substance
étrangère pénétrer dans la fourche
avant.
Huile recommandée:
Huile de suspension “01”
16. Après le remplissage, pomper
lentement plus de 10 fois vers le
haut et le bas la tige d’amortis-
seur 1 pour distribuer l’huile du
fourche.
17. Remplir:
Huile de fourche avant
Une nouvelle fois jusqu’au
sommet du fourreau avec
l’huile de fourche recomman-
dée.
18. Une fois le remplissage de l’huile
de fourche terminé, pomper le
fourreau 1 de haut en bas
(course de environ 200 mm
(7,9 in)) pour assurer une nou-
velle fois la bonne répartition de
l’huile de fourche.
N.B.:
Faire attention à ne pas dépasser la
pleine course. Une course de 200 mm
(7,9 in) ou plus fera entrer de l’air. Dans
ce cas, répéter les étapes 15 à 18.13. Controllare:
Movimento agevole del tubo di

Tenuta/resistenza/punti rugo-

14. Comprimere completamente la
forcella anteriore.
15. Riempire:
Olio forcella anteriore
fino alla superficie superiore
del fodero con olio per forcelle
raccomandato 1.
ATTENZIONE:
Accertarsi di impiegare olio per for-
celle raccomandato. Se si impiegano
altri oli, questi potrebbero avere
effetti collaterali eccessivi sulle pre-
stazioni della forcella anteriore.
Non fare penetrare mai materiale
estraneo nella forcella anteriore.
Olio raccomandato:
Olio per sospensioni “01”
16. Dopo il riempimento, pompare
lentamente l’asta pompante 1 su
e giù per più di 10 volte per distri-
buire l’olio della forcella.
17. Riempire:
Olio forcella anteriore
ancora una volta fino alla
superficie superiore del fodero
con olio per forcelle raccoman-
dato.
18. Dopo il riempimento, pompare
ancora una volta lentamente il
fodero 1 su e giù (corsa di circa
200 mm (7,9 in)) per distribuire
l’olio della forcella.
NOTA:
Fare attenzione a non superare il fondo
corsa. Una corsa di 200 mm (7,9 in) o
più farà penetrare l’aria. In tal caso, ripe-
tere le fasi da 15 a 18.

19. Wait ten minutes until the air bubbles
have been removed from the front fork,
and the oil has dispense evenly in system
before setting recommended oil level.
NOTE:
Fill with the fork oil up to the top end of the
outer tube, or the fork oil will not spread over to
every part of the front forks, thus making it
impossible to obtain the correct level.
Be sure to fill with the fork oil up to the top of
the outer tube and bleed the front forks.
20. Measure:
Oil level (left and right) a
Out of specification → Adjust.
NOTE:
Be sure to install the spring guide 2 when
checking the oil level.
WARNING
Never fail to make the oil level adjustment
between the maximum and minimum level
and always adjust each front fork to the
same setting. Uneven adjustment can
cause poor handling and loss of stability.
Standard oil level:
140 mm (5.51 in)
Extent of adjustment:
80 ~ 150 mm (3.15 ~ 5.91 in)

19. Zehn Minuten warten, bis et-
waige Luftbläschen sich auf-
gelöst haben, bevor der Ga-
belölstand gemessen wird.
HINWEIS:
Das Gleitrohr bis zum Rand mit Ga-
belöl befüllen, anderenfalls verteilt
sich das Öl nicht richtig und kann der
richtige Ölstand nicht erreicht wer-
den.
Sicherstellen, daß sich keine Luft in
der Teleskopgabel befindet.
20. Messen:
Gabelölstand (links und
rechts) a
Unvorschriftsmäßig → Korri-
gieren.
HINWEIS:
Bei der Gabelölstandkontrolle muß
der Federsitz 2 montiert sein.
WARNUNG
Der Ölstand beider Gabelholme
muß identisch sein und sich im
Sollbereich befinden. Ungleichmä-
ßiger Ölstand in den Gabelholmen
kann Fahrverhalten und Stabilität
beeinträchtigen.

19. Attendre dix minutes jusqu’à ce

N.B.:
Verser de l’huile de fourche jusqu’à
l’extrémité supérieure du fourreau, sinon

dans les bras de fourche et le niveau
d’huile correct ne pourra être atteint.
Toujours verser de l’huile de fourche
jusqu’à l’extrémité supérieure du tube
extérieur et purger les bras de fourche.
20. Mesurer:
Niveau d’huile (gauche et
droit) a
Hors spécification → Régler.
N.B.:
Toujours installer le guide 2 de ressort
lors de la vérification du niveau d’huile.
AVERTISSEMENT
Toujours veiller à ce que le niveau
d’huile se situe entre les repères de
niveau maximum et minimum et à ce
que le niveau d’huile dans chacun
bras de fourche soit identique. Un
réglage inégal peut entraîner une
mauvaise maniabilité et une perte de
stabilité.
Niveau d’huile standard:
140 mm (5,51 in)
Plage de réglage:
80 à 150 mm
(3,15 à 5,91 in)

NOTA:
Riempire con olio per forcelle fino
all’estremità superiore del fodero altri-
menti l’olio non si distribuirà in ogni
parte delle forcelle anteriori, rendendo
impossibile ottenere il livello corretto.
Accertarsi di riempire con olio per for-
celle fino all’estremità superiore del
fodero e spurgare le forcelle anteriori.
20. Misurare:
Livello dell’olio (sinistra e
destra) a
Fuori specifica → Regolare.
NOTA:
Accertarsi di installare la guida della
molla 2 quando si controlla il livello
dell’olio.
AVVERTENZA
Non omettere mai di regolare il livello
dell’olio tra il livello massimo e
minimo e regolare sempre ogni for-
cella anteriore nello stesso modo. Una
regolazione disuguale può determi-
nare difficoltà di manovrabilità e per-
dita di stabilità.
Livello olio standard:
140 mm (5,51 in)
Portata della regolazione:
80 ~ 150 mm
(3,15 ~ 5,91 in)

21. Measure:

22. Loosen:
Rebound damping adjuster 1
NOTE:
Loosen the rebound damping adjuster finger
tight.
Record the set position of the adjuster (the
amount of turning out the fully turned in posi-
tion).
23. Install:
Cushion rubber 1
Washer 2
Spacer 3
To front fork cap bolt 4.
NOTE:
Install the cushion rubber with its smaller
dia.end a facing the front fork cap bolt.
24. Install:
Push rod 1
Fork spring 2
NOTE:
Install the fork spring with the damper rod 3
pulled up.
After installing the fork spring, hold the
damper rod end so that it will not go down.
25. Install:
Front fork cap bolt 1
Fully tighten the front fork cap bolt onto
the damper rod by hand.
