Opening the directory

After connecting the cell phone, the contacts in
it ore automatically imported into the MMI.

-Check for a possible request to synchronize
on your cell phone. Requests to synchronize
the directory must be confirmed so that
your cell phone contacts can be loaded into
the MMI.

MMI depends on
the cell phone used. For more information on supported cell phones, visit
www.audiusa.com/bluetooth or contact an authorized Audi dealer or authorized Audi
Service Facility .
- The directory from the cell phone with the
active connection will always be displayed .

be transferred in alphabetica l order. If there
are too many entries, contacts with differ­
ent first letters may be missing in the MMI.

ually download your cell phone contacts . De­
pending on the cell phone, the Bluetooth connec­
tion may need to be disconnected and reconnect­ ed to update the contacts.

When this function is switched on, grayed-out
contacts that have no phone numbers stored for
them will be hidden in the directory .
Safety belt microphone
Applies to: vehicles with safety belt microphone
The safety belt microphone is positioned in the
ideal location to provide the best hands-free call
quality regardless of body size and seat position.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
The safety belt microphone activates when you
buck le the safety belt. Make sure that the micro­
phone is on the s ide of the safety belt that is fac­
ing outward

If you unbuckle the driver's safety belt, the sys­
tem switches from the safety be lt microphone to
the roof m icrophone.
(D Tips
- If you deactivate* the front passenger 's air­
bag, the front passenger's safety belt mi­
crophone is deactivated regardless of
whether the front passenger's safety belt is
buckled or not .
- A dirty microphone opening can affect hands-free call quality. If this happens,
clean the safety belt microphone using a
brush .

Introduction

With Audi connect services, online information is
transmitted and integrated direct ly in the vehi­
cle.
Using the Wi-Fi hotspot, you can access the In­
ternet through a mobile device when the vehicle is stationary.
A WARNING
- To reduce the risk of an accident, on ly use
Audi connect serv ices when road and traff ic
condit ions permit. Always read the instruc­
t ions in the chapter <=>
page 93, Traffic safe­
ty information .
-It is only safe to use tab lets, laptops, mo­
bile devices and other similar devices when
the vehicle is stationary because, like all loose objects, they could be th row n around
the ins ide of the vehicle in a crash and cause
serious injur ies. Sto re t hese types of devi ces

- If a SIM card of a different siz e is inserted in
the SIM card reader instead of an Audi con­

cumstances remove this card yourself due
to the risk of damaging the SIM card reader .

you would like for your vehicle in your myAudi
account.
- For some services, you may also have to enter
your myAudi user data or your myAudi PIN
when accessing services in the MMI to connect

Logging into myAudi in the vehicle

myAudi to transfer your personal settings from

the Twitter category you have selected :
- New tweet: you can post a new tweet using
pre-made templates or using custom ized tem­
plates in your myAudi account.
- Refresh : the se lected Twitter function is re­
freshed.
- Favorite : mark a Tweet as favorite to show you
Liked it.
- Retweet : you can quote a Tweet to share it wit h
others.
