CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This sensor detects the exhaust gas (NOx) outside the vehicle and sends a signal to the A/C amplifier.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.READ VALUE ON HAND-HELD TESTER
a. Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC3.
b. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and push the hand-held tester main switch on.
c. Select the item below in the DATA LIST, and read the display on the hand-held tester.

3.INSPECT EXHAUST GAS SENSOR
a. Remove the exhaust gas sensor.
b. After keeping to apply battery voltage between terminals 3 and 6 for more than 120 seconds,
measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2.
c. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This servomotor is controlled by the A/C amplifier. Air flow temperature changes when moving the air mix
damper to the target point. The target point can be detected with the air mix damper position sensor.

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This sensor detects the smoke inside the cabin and sends the appropriate signals to the luggage room J/B ECU.

1.INSPECT LUGGAGE ROOM J/B ECU (RMGV - BODY GROUND)
a. Remove the luggage room J/B ECU with connectors still connected.
b. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below when applying or not applying

2.INSPECT SMOKE SENSOR
a. Remove the smoke sensor.
b. Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal S47-1 and negative (-) lead to terminal
S47-3.
c. Measure the voltage according to the value (s) in the table below.
