b. Pull the cable from the engine room and remove it.

12.INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSY
a. Pass the cable to the engine room.
b. Pass the cable rear side through the grommet until the cable stopper is attached to the grommet.
c. Pass the cable front side throu
gh the upper radiator support.

HINT:
Pass the cable to the upper part of the skid control ECU bracket as shown in the illustration.

d. Connect the cable clamps as shown in the illustration.

13.INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSY
a. Connect the hood lock control cable as shown in the illustration.
b. Install the lever with the 2 screws.

14.INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE COVER
a. Install the cover with the nut.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf)
b. Install new cap.

c.INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSY
a. Appl
y MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

b. Connect the hood lock control cable.
c. Install the hood lock with the 2 bolts and nut.
Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in..lbf)
d. Adjust the lock (see ADJUSTMENT
).
e. Install new cap.

f. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Install the millimeter wave radar sensor with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in..lbf)
g. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Connect the connector.
h. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
i. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Initialize both s
ystems (see INITIALIZATION).

j. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Inspect the SRS warning lamp (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM
).
k. w/ Pre-collision safety system:
Adjust the millimeter wave radar sensor (see ADJUSTMENT
).

d.INSTALL HOOD AUXILIARY CATCH HOOK ASSY
a. Install the hook with the bolt.
