EN07A-Ma
The fuel system should be bled to remove air
as described below if the fuel supply is ex-
hausted during travel.
1. Undo the four clips on the air cleaner
and push the cover (B) aside.
N07A018a
2. Press the pump (A) against the brack-
et (C) with your fingers until the pump
becomes stiff. Then pump several
times more to pressurize the system.
3. Finally, start the engine and check for
leakage of fuel.
If in doubt, consult your nearest autho-
rized MITSUBISHI dealer.
CAUTION
(1) Do not smoke or have any other
open flame near the vehicle while
bleeding the fuel system.
(2) Be sure to carefully clean away
any spilt fuel which could ignite
and cause a fire.

CAUTION
(1) Do not smoke or have any other
open flame near the vehicle while
bleeding the fuel system.
(2) Be sure to carefully clean away
any water drained out, because
any fuel mixed with the water
could ignite and cause a fire.

6. Stop and restart the engine.
7. Allow the engine to idle for approxi-
mately 10 minutes.
8. When the engine speed stabilizes, the

your vehicle, depending on the vehicle
model or specifications.

Changing a fuseEN29C - Ce
1. Before replacing a fuse, always turn
off the electrical circuit concerned and
turn the ignition key to the “LOCK”
position.
2. Remove the fuse box cover.
3. Referring to the fuse load capacity
table, check the fuse pertaining to the
problem.

N29C008a
4. There is a fuse removing tool in the
fuse cover of the passenger com-
partement. First take the fuse remov-
ing tool out of the fuse cover slowly
and then by using the fuse removing
tool, pull the fuse straight out from the
fuse box. If it is not blown, something
else must be causing the problem;
contact an authorized MITSUBISHI
dealer to have the problem checked.

5. Insert a new fuse of the same capacity
into the clip and insert the fuse at the
same place in the fuse box.
CAUTION
(1) If the newly inserted fuse blows
again after a short time, have the
electrical system checked and re-
paired by an authorized MITSUBI-
SHI dealer to find the cause and
rectify it.
(2) Never use a fuse with a capacity
larger than that specified or any
substitute, such as wire, foil, etc.;
doing so will cause the circuit wir-
ing to heat up and could cause
fire.
Replacement of lamp bulbsEN10A-Ab
Before replacing a bulb, ensure the lamp is
off. Do not touch the glass part of the new
bulb with your bare fingers; the skin oil left on
the glass will evaporate when the bulb gets
hot and the vapor will condense on the re-
flector and dim the surface.

Bulb capacityEN10BMDh
A bulb should only be replaced with a new
bulb of the same rating and type. The desig-
nation can be found on the base of the bulb.
