In cold weather with the engine cold, the air flow is increased gradually until
t
he system has warmed up, in order
to limit the delivery of cold air into the
passenger
c
ompartment.
On
entering the vehicle, if the interior
t
emperature is much colder or warmer
than
the comfort value setting, there
i
s no need to alter the value displayed
in
order to reach more quickly the
r
equired level of comfort. The system
c
ompensates automatically and
corrects the temperature difference as
quickly
as possible.
This
setting is associated with AUTO mode
o
nly.
However, on deactivation of AUTO mode,
t
he
last setting remains on.
Changing the setting does not reactivate AUTO
m
ode
if deactivated.
When the indicator lamp in the button is on, the
air
conditioning
system
operates
automatically:
t
he
system
manages
the
temperature,
air
f
low
and
air
distribution
in
the
passenger
c
ompartment
in
an
optimum
way
according
to
t
he
comfort
level
you
have
selected.
You
can
always
choose
to
modify
a
setting
m
anually.
In
this
case
the
indicator
lamp
in
the
b
utton
is
off.

again
to
activate
the

utomatic
comfort
programme
again.

P
ress this button to activate or
deactivate the automatic mode of
the
air
conditioning
system.
Automatic comfort
programme
To change the current setting, press the button t
o display the different modes in turn:
"SOFT":
provides soft and quiet operation by

imiting air flow.
"NORMAL":
offers the best compromise
b
etween a comfortable temperature and quiet
operation
(default setting).
"FAST":
provides strong and effective air flow.
It is possible to modulate the intensity of the
automatic
comfort
programme
by
choosing
one
o
f
three
mode
settings
offered
in
a
secondary
p
age
of
the
Air conditioning
menu.

Ventilation with ignition on
function
With the ignition on, you can use the ventilation system and have access to the Air
conditioning
menu to adjust the air flow and
a
ir distribution in the passenger compartment.
This function is available for a few minutes,
depending
on the state of charge of the battery
o
f your vehicle.
This function does not activate the air
conditioning.
You
can make use of the residual heat in the
e
ngine to warm the passenger compartment
u
sing the temperature setting buttons.

as quickly as possible.

air intake, and provides optimum

istribution towards the windscreen and side
windows.

ossible, as reducing the consumption

f electrical current reduces fuel
consumption.

Scented air freshener
Allows a fragrance to be distributed in the passenger compartment via the central air vents.

A cartridge lasts on average 3 months, based on one hour’s usage per day.
The air freshener contains an empty
cartridge
when your vehicle is

elivered. You therefore need to insert

cartridge in order to use the air

reshener.

Replacing a cartridge
The air freshener button A is independent of
the cartridge. Cartridges are supplied without

he air freshener button A .
The button of the air freshener A can only be
fitted to the centre of the dashboard with a
cartridge
attached.
Therefore
always keep the air freshener
b
utton A and one cartridge.
Replacement
cartridges are available,
d
epending on country, either on the Internet
s
ite or from a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Locations
are provided in the glove box for
s
toring cartridges and containers.

For safety, use only cartridges that are provided for this purpose.
Retain
the containers for storing used
c
artridges.
Do
not recharge or dismantle the
c
artridges.
Keep them out of reach of children and
animals.
Avoid
all contact with the skin and with

he eyes.
In
the event of ingestion, consult a

octor and show them the product
packaging

lab
el.
Do
not install or remove a cartridge

hile you are driving.

refrigeration of your glove box operates

nly with the engine running and the air

The
blinds
are
extended
on
the
sun
visor
rails.
Fold
the
visor
downwards,
to
protect
against
d
azzle
to
the
face.
If
dazzle
is
coming
from
the
side
windows,
d
etach
the
visor
from
its
housing
above
the
c
entre
of
the
windscreen
and
pivot
it
to
the side.
The
visors
are
fitted
with
a
locking
system
on
t
heir
central
housing
when
the
blind
is
reeled
i
n.
To
detach
the
visor
or
to
reposition
it,
it
must
b
e
in
a
vertical
position.

Removable console
The removable console is a portable storage space secured to the lower centre console.
I t has a sliding lid, an open storage space and two cup holders.

arry out these operations in reverse
order.
Ensure that the console has locked

nto place.
When
not fixed to its carrier, the

emovable console should be stowed

the boot. It could become a projectile

n the event of a sudden stop or violent
impact.

Central storage compartment

A 230 V / 50 Hz socket (maximum power: 120 W) is fitted in the central storage box.
To
use the socket:

onnect your multimedia or other electrical

(telephone charger, laptop

omputer, CD-DVD player, baby food
warmer...).
This
socket works with the engine running, as

ell as in STOP mode with Stop & Start.

the event of a fault with the socket, the green

insulation (shown on the device).
As a safety measure, when electrical
consumption is high and when required

y the vehicle's electrical system
(
particular weather conditions, electrical
overload...), the current supply to the
s
ocket will be cut off; the green warning l
amp goes off.
