Yaw Rate Sensor and Accelerometer
Removal
N0TE:The yaw rate sensor and accelerometer are Remove the yaw rate sensor and

CAUTIONS:
A The yaw rate sensor and accelerometer
assembly will be damaged if dropped.
A Make sure the correct bolts are used for
the yaw rate sensor and accelerometer
assembly. Failure to follow this instruction
will result in damaged threads.

Removal
1. N0TE:The steering wheel rotation sensor
and the clockspring cannot be separated.
Remove the clockspring. For additional
information, refer to Section
501-20A [Safety

Installation

CAUTI0N:If brake fluid is spilt on the
paintwork, the affected area must be
immediately washed down with cold water.
I. Remove the brake master cylinder. For
additional information, refer to

206-06 [Hydraulic Brake Actuation].
2. Detach the engine wiring harness electrical I

module assembly and the support bracket.
6. Disconnect the stability assist module
electrical connector.
11. Detach the HCU and stability assist module
assembly from the support bracket.
7. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional
information, refer to Section

8. Remove the HCU and stability assist module
support bracket lower retaining bolt.
9. Lower the vehicle.
13. Remove the stability assist module.
