i n th e fu el pip e lin e is hig h, do th e fo llo w in g opera tio n so
a s to re le ase fu el pre ssu re in th e lin e and pre ve nt fu el fr o m
r u nnin g out.
1 . Rem ove th e fu el fille r ca p to re le ase pre ssu re in th e fu el
t a nk.
2 . Rem ove th e fu el pum p re la y.
3 . Connect th e MUT-I I to th e dia gnosis co nnecto r.

4 . Turn off th e ig nit io n sw it c h .
5 . Sele ct “Ite m No.7 4” fr o m th e MUT-I I Data lis t.
6 . Cra nk th e engin e fo r at le ast tw o se co nds.
7 . If th e engin e is not be sta rte d, use th e MUT-I I to make
s u re th at th e fu el pre ssu re is 0.5 MPa or le ss. T hen tu rn
o ff th e ig nit io n sw it c h .
8 . If th e engin e is sta rte d, re le ase fu el pre ssu re by th e
f o llo w in g pro ce dure :
( 1 ) Turn off th e ig nit io n sw it c h ,a nd th en sto p th e engin e.
( 2 ) Dis co nnect one of th e ig nit io n co il co nnecto rs .
( 3 ) Cra nk th e engin e fo r at le ast tw o se co nds.
( 4 ) If th e engin e is not be sta rte d, use th e MUT-I I to
m ake su re th at th e fu el pre ssu re is 0.5 MPa or le ss.
T hen tu rn off th e ig nit io n sw it c h .
( 5 ) If th e engin e is sta rte d, sto p it by ra cin g and use
t h e MUT-I I to make su re th at th e fu el pre ssu re is
0 .5 MPa or le ss. Then tu rn off th e ig nit io n sw it c h .
( 6 ) Reco nnect th e ig nit io n co il co nnecto r.
