Hybrid system
Stopping your vehicle and the hybrid system




- With the electronic key inside the vehicle,
then press the START/STOPbutton or turn
the key fully off to position 1 (stop) then
remove the key from the ignition switch;
the parking brake is applied automatically if configured to do so.



-
Otherwise apply the parking brake manually, the Pwarning lamp must be on. - Apply the brake until the vehicle comes to acomplete stop.
- Place the gear lever in position N.


When stationary, switch off the ignition and check that the Readylamp is off before leaving the vehicle. Otherwise the hybrid system will still be active.See the section on "Underbonnet precautions/warnings".

Instruments and controls

Operation indicator lamps

If one of the following indicator lamps comes on in the instrument panel and/or instrument panel screen, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.

Main beam headlamps
fixed. The lighting stalk is pulled towardsyou. Pull the stalk to return to dipped beam headlamps.
Ready
fixed. The vehicle is ready to move off; you can press the accelerator. It comes on once high voltage is established in the
vehicle.


Rear foglamps

fixed. The rear foglamps are switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards to switch off the
rear foglamps.

Access
Locking/unlocking from the inside

Automatic central locking
of the doors
The doors can lock automatically while driving (speed above 6 mph (10 km/h)).
To activate or deactivate this function, press
and hold the button until a message appears in
the screen.
If the vehicle is deadlocked, the button is not active. In this case, use the key or the remote control to unlock.
Driving with the doors locked may makeaccess to the passenger compartmentby the emergency services moredifficult in an emergency.

Folding the key
)First press this button to fold the key.
If you do not press the button when foldingthe key, there is a risk of damage to the mechanism.

Press the closed padlock to
locate your locked vehicle in acar park.
Locating your vehicle

Press the button.
This allows the doors and the boot to be lockedor unlocked.
This is indicated b
y lighting of the cour tesylamps and flashing of the direction indicators for a few seconds.
When carrying large objects with theboot open, you can press this button to inhibit the boot open aler t signal. Whenlocking from inside, the door mirrors donot fold.

Access
System which protects and provides a deterrentagainst theft and break-ins. It provides the
following types of monitoring:






Alarm
- Exterior perimeter
The system checks for opening of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to open a
door, the boot or the bonnet...


- Interior volumetric
The system checks for any variation in the
volume in the passenger compartment.
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks a
window, enters the passenger compar tment or moves inside the vehicle.

- Tilt

The system checks for any change in the attitude of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if the vehicle is lifted,
moved or knocked.


Self-protection function
The system checks for the putting out of ser vice of its components. The alarm is triggered if the battery,the central control unit or the wires of the siren are put out of ser vice or damaged.
For all work on the alarm system,contact a PEUGEOT dealer or aqualified workshop.


Locking the vehicle with full
alarm system


Activation
)Switch off the ignition and get out of the vehicle.
)
Press the locking button on theremote control or lock the vehicle
using the Keyless Entry and Starting system. The monitorin
g system is active: the indicator
lamp on the button flashes once per second.

After the locking button on the remote controlis pressed or the vehicle locked using the
Ke
yless Entry and Starting system, the exterior perimeter monitoring is activated after a delay
of 5 seconds, the interior volumetric monitoring
after 45 seconds and anti-tilt monitoring after 90 seconds.
If an opening (door, boot...) is not closed
fully, the vehicle is not locked but the exterior perimeter monitoring will be activated after a
delay of 45 seconds.
) Press the unlocking button on
the remote control or unlock the
vehicle using the Keyless Entryand Star ting system.

Deactivation of the volumetric monitoring

The volumetric protection system is
deactivated: the indicator lamp in the
button
goes off.

Fuel tank Capacity of the tank: approximately 72 litres.

Additions of fuel must be of at least 5 litres to
be registered by the fuel gauge.Opening the filler cap may result in an inrush of air. This vacuum is entirely normal and results from the sealing of the fuel system.) Take care to select the pump that delivers
the correct fuel t
ype for your vehicle'sengine (reminder on a label on the inside of
the filler flap).) Open the filler cap by turning it a 1/4 turn to
the left. ) Remove the filler cap and hang it on its carrier (on the filler flap).


Opening
If you have put in the wrong fuel for your vehicle, you must have havethe tank drained and refilled with the correct fuel before you start theengine.



- Press the switch.
This control remains active for a fewminutes after switching off the ignition.
If necessary, switch the ignition on again to reactivate it.

Refuelling
)
Introduce the nozzle and push it in fully(pushing on the the metal non-return
valve A). A) Fill the tank. Do not continue past the thirdcut-off of the nozzle, as this may cause malfunctions. )
Refit the filler cap turning it a 1/4 turn to
the right. ) Push the filler flap to close it.

Your vehicle is
fitted with a catalytic converter,
a device which helps to reduce the level of
harmful emissions in the exhaust gases.
You must switch off theengine by stopping the
hybrid system (the Readylamp must be off) to avoid
any automatic restar t of the engine while
refuelling.

4. Air intake/Air recirculation
)
Press this button to recirculatethe interior air. The indicator
lamp comes on to confirm this.
) Press the button again to
permit the intake of exterior air.
The indicator lamp goes off toconfirm this.
The intake o
f exterior air prevents the formation of mist on the windscreen and side windows.
The recirculation of interior air isolates the passenger compartment from exterior odours and smoke.
Return to exterior air intake as soon as possible
to prevent deterioration of the the air qualit
y and the formation of mist.

6. Automatic visibility programme 5. Air conditioning On/Off
The air conditioning is designed to operate effectively in all seasons,
with the windows closed.
It enables you to:
- lower the temperature, in summer,
- increase the effectiveness of the demisting
in winter, above 3 °C.

Switching on

Press the "A/C"
button, the associatedgreen indicator lamp comes on.The air conditioning does not operate when
the air flow adjustment is set to off.
Switching off
) Press the "A/C"
button again, the
associated green indicator lamp switches off.Switching off may result in some discomfort(humidity, misting).

Dual-zone digital air conditioning
Automatic operation
1. Automatic comfort programme
)
Press this "AU TO "button. Theindicator lamp comes on.
We recommend that you use this mode.It automatically adjusts all settings to provide
optimum operation for the comfor t level chosen: passenger compar tment temperature, air flow, air distribution and air recirculation.
This system is designed to operate effectivelyin all seasons, with the windows closed.
When the engine is cold, to prevent too great a distribution of cold air,the air flow will reach its optimum level gradually. In cold weather, it favours the distribution of warm air to the windscreen, side windows and footwells only.

2 - 3. Driver-passenger side adjustment

The driver and front passenger can each adjust
the temperature to their requirements.

The value indicated on the display corresponds
to a level of comfor t and not to a temperature in
degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
) Turn control 2or 3to the left(blue) or to the right (red) respectively to decrease or increase this value.
A setting around the value 21 provides optimumcomfort. However, depending on your requirements,
a settin
g between 18 and 24 is normal. It is recommended that the difference between
left and right should not be greater 3. The air conditionin
g can only operate when the hybrid system is active, except in STOP mode of Stop & Start.

Comfort

On entering the vehicle, if the interior temperature is much colder or warmer than the comfort value, there is noneed to change the value displayed in order to obtain the comfort required.The system corrects the differencein temperature automatically and asquickly as possible.

4. Automatic visibility programme

For maximum cooling or heating of thepassenger compartment, it is possibleto exceed the minimum value 14 or themaximum value 28.)

to the left until "LO"is displayed or to the right until "HI"

Press this button to equalise thecomfort value on the passenger's
side with that on the driver's side (mono-zone). The indicator lamp in the button comes on.

f you wish, you can change one of settings
provided by the system. The other functions will still be controlled automatically.) Pressing the "AUTO"
button returns the system to completely automatic operation.


Manual operation
5. Mono-zone/Dual-zone
The air conditioning is designed to operate effectively in all seasons,
with the windows closed.
6. Air conditioning On/Off
It allows you:
- in summer, to lower the temperature,
- in winter, above 3 °C, to improve demistin
g
performance.

7. Maximum air conditioning
If you want to temporarily refresh theair in the passenger compartment,
press this button and "LO"isdisplayed.
To return to the previous settings, press the
button again.
With Stop & Start, when demisting has been switched on, the Diesel engine does not stop.Switchin
g on) Press the "A/C"button, the associated green indicator lamp comes on.The air conditioning does not operate when
the air flow control is set to off.
Switching off) Press the "A /C "
button again, the
associated green indicator lamp goes off.
Switching off the air conditioning may result in
