PRACTICAL INFORMATION
1. Direction indicators (PY21W SV silver).
2. Directional dipped / main beam headlamps (D1S).
3. Additional main beam headlamps (H1).
4. Daytime running lamps / sidelamps (P21/5W)
or
Daytime running lamps / sidelamps (LEDs).
Model with xenon and directional headlamps
Risk of electrocution
Xenon bulbs (D1S) must be replaced by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualifi ed workshop.
Changing direction indicator bulbs
 Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn and extract it.
 Pull the bulb out and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order. Amber or silver coloured bulbs, such as the direction indicators,
must be replaced with bulbs of identical specifi cations and colour.
When refi tting, close the protective cover carefully to assure the
sealing of the headlamp.

Changing dipped beam headlamp bulbs
 Remove the protective cover by pulling the tab.
 Disconnect the bulb connector.
 Spread the springs to release the bulb.
 Pull the bulb out and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order.
Changing main beam headlamp bulbs
 Remove the protective cover by pulling on the tab.
 Disconnect the bulb connector.
 Compress the springs to release the bulb.
 Remove the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order.
Changing daytime running lamp / sidelamp bulbs
 Remove the protective cover by pulling on the tab.
 Disconnect the bulb connector.
 Turn the bulb holder a quarter of a turn and extract it.
 Pull the bulb and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order.

Changing integrated direction indicator side repeaters
Changing the daytime running lamps / sidelamps REAR LAMPS
1. Sidelamps (LEDs).
2. Direction indicators (LEDs).
3. Brake lamps / sidelamps (P21/5W).
4. Reversing lamps (P21W).
5. Foglamp (P21W).
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualifi ed workshop. For the replacement of these bulbs, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualifi ed workshop.

Changing brake lamps / sidelamps
This bulb is changed from outside the boot, having fi rst removed the
rear lamp:
 open the boot lid,
 unclip the access fl ap of the corresponding side trim, then remove it,
 unclip the lamp taking hold of it at the base, then tilt it,
 turn the bulb holder one quarter of a turn and remove it,
 turn the bulb one quarter of a turn and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order.  disconnect the lamp connector,
 remove the two lamp fi xing bolts,

Changing reversing lamps and foglamps
These two bulbs are changed from outside the rear bumper:
 unclip the protective cover from the rear, then tilt it,
 remove it completely to gain access to the two lamp fi xing bolts, On the left-hand side, take care not to touch the silencer; risk
of burns, if you change the bulb immediately after switching
off the ignition.
 turn these two bolts one quarter of a turn and remove them,
 push the lamp towards the inside to unclip it, then tilt it,
 pull the lamp towards the outside for access to the various
bulb-holders.
- For the reversing lamps: pull the corresponding bulb holder,
- turn the bulb one quarter of a turn and change it.
- For the foglamp: turn the bulb holder one quarter of a turn and remove it,
- turn the bulb one quarter of a turn and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order.

Changing reversing lamp and foglamp bulbs
(1.6 litre THP 270 hp version)
The bulbs on these two types of lamp are changed by partly removing
the lamp unit A in the rear bumper:
 using a screwdriver, remove the 3 fi xing screws B located under the
vehicle,
Take care not to touch the silencer; risk of burns, if you
change the bulb immediately after switching off the ignition.
 without forcing, lower the rear part of the lamp unit for access to the \
bulb holders C ,
 turn the corresponding bulb holder a quarter of a turn then remove it towards the front of the vehicle,
 turn the bulb one quarter of a turn and change it.
To refi t, carry out these operations in reverse order.

Changing sidelamps and direction indicators
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualifi ed workshop. High pressure washing
When using this type of washing on stubborn dirt, do not persist
on the headlamps, the lamps and their surrounds to avoid
damaging their protective coating and seals.
Changing number plate lamps (W5W)
 Insert the end of the vehicle's key in the hole in the transparent cover.
 Push towards the outside to unclip it.
 Remove the transparent cover.
 Pull the bulb out and change it.
Changing the third brake lamp (LEDs)
For the replacement of this type of LED lamp, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.

CHANGING A FUSE
ACCESS TO THE TOOLS
The extraction tweezer is fi tted to the back of the dashboard fusebox
cover.
To gain access to them:
 turn the screw a quarter of a turn to the left,
 unclip the cover by pulling at the top right,
 remove the cover completely and turn it over,
 remove the carrier on which is fi tted the tweezer.
CHANGING A FUSE
Before changing a fuse, tit is necessary to:
 identify the cause and correct it,
 switch off all electrical consumers,
 immobilise the vehicle and switch off the ignition,
 identify the failed fuse using the allocation tables and drawings presented on the following pages.
To replace a fuse, you must:
- use the special tweezer to extract the fuse from its housing and check the condition of its fi lament,
- always replace a failed fuse with a fuse of the same rating (same colour); a different rating fuse may cause malfunctions (risk of fi re).

If the fault recurs soon after changing a fuse, have the electrical
system of your vehicle checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualifi ed workshop.

Installing electrical accessories
Your vehicle's electrical system is designed to operate with
standard or optional equipment.
Before installing other electrical equipment or accessories on your
vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualifi ed workshop.
PEUGEOT will not accept responsibility for the cost incurred in
repairing your vehicle or for rectifying malfunctions resulting from
the installation of accessories not supplied and not recommended
by PEUGEOT and not installed in accordance with its instructions,
in particular when the combined consumption of all of the
additional equipment connected exceeds 10 milliamperes.

DASHBOARD FUSES
The fusebox is placed in the lower section of the dashboard (left-hand \
side). It consists of two boxes.
Access to the fuses
