aRemove the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture,
Air filter unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
aRemove:
-the bolts (1) from the air filter box cover,
-the air filter.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
aparts always to be replaced: Air filter.
aClean the air filter housing.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
aRefit:
-the air filter,
-the air filter unit cover bolts.
III - FINAL OPERATION
aRefit the air filter unit (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air fil-
ter unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) .

I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
aRemove:
-the engine cover,
-the air filter box (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter
unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) .
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
aRemove the bolts (1) of the air filter box cover (2) .
aRaise the cover of the air filter box to remove it from
its mountings.
aMove aside the air filter cover.
aRemove the air filter and discard it.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
aRefit a new air filter.
aRefit:
-the air filter box cover,-the air filter box cover bolts
II - FINAL OPERATION.
aRefit:
-the air filter box (see 12A, Fuel mixture, Air filter
unit: Removal - Refitting, page 12A-13) ,
-the engine cover.

aRemove the bolts (1) from the air filter unit cover on
the air filter unit.
aMove the air filter unit air inlet pipe and the air filter
unit cover to one side.II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
aRemove the air filter unit in the direction of the ar-
rows (2) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
aClean the air filter unit.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
aCorrectly fit the air filter into the air filter unit cover.
III - FINAL OPERATION
aPosition the air filter unit air inlet pipe and the air filter
unit cover on the air filter unit.
aRefit the air filter unit cover bolts.
aTighten the air filter unit cover bolts.

unit, unfiltered air may enter the engine.
