In corrosive areas, more frequent lubrication is necessary.

1. Remov e th e positiv e Crankcas e ventilatio n (PCV )
valve (se e pag e 11-52 ).
2 . Remov e th e rea r cylinde r hea d cover , refe r t o th e
199 7 NS X Servic e Manual , P/ N 61SL00 6 (se e pag e
6-24).
3 . Remov e th e bolt s (A ) securin g th e breathe r cove r
(B), the n remov e th e breathe r cover .
NOTE: B e carefu l no t t o damag e th e cylinde r hea d
cover matin g surfaces .

colla r groov e (B) .
5. Remov e th e PCV colla r locknut , the n remov e th e
PC V collar .

head cove r matin g surfaces , bolts , an d bol t holes .
7. Clea n an d dr y th e cylinde r hea d cove r matin g sur -
faces , bolts , an d bol t holes .
8. Instal l th e ne w PC V colla r (A ) wit h a ne w O-ring .
