䠐HD radio reception is available when the vehicle is in radio mode.
䠐The ways of saving preset and searching for frequencies for standard radios are identical
for HD radios.
䠐The HD radio icon will be displayed when the vehicle is within regions where HD radio
signals can be received.

hd radio™ on/off
1. Select the band (FM, AM) you want.
If an HD radio broadcast is received, the radio mode will switch from analog broadcast to
HD radio broadcast.
2. Press [Menu] > [HD Radio] on the screen. The HD radio will be off and switch to analog
broadcast.

䠐The default setting of [HD Radio] is set to on.
䠐HD radio technology is a digital radio technology used by FM and AM radio broadcast
stations to transmit audio and data via a digital signal in conjunction with their analog
signals.
䠐While listening to the radio, the HD radio icon will become displayed if receiving an HD
radio broadcast.

1. Press [RADIO] button on the head unit. Or press [Radio] on the home screen.
2. Press [Band] > [SiriusXM] on the screen. The SiriusXM radio screen of the most recent
listened channel will be displayed.
3. Select the desired broadcast channel.

a Preset list
Displays the channels saved in the preset list.
Smart favorites
SXM supports 10 smart favorites. It is buffered 1 hour for the currently tuned channel
(instant replay) and at least 1/2 hour for each of the 10 smart favorites.

Plays previous channel.

Displays the logo of the channel currently playing.
Category info
Displays the category currently playing.
Channel info
Displays the current channel number and name.
d CH D
Plays next channel.
e Album art
Displays the current album art image.
Contents info
Displays the artist, title and other information about the song currently playing.

cauTions upon connec Ting blueTooTh phone
䠐Before connecting the head unit with the mobile phone, check to see that the mobile
phone supports Bluetooth features.
䠐If you do not want automatic connection with your Bluetooth device, turn the Bluetooth
feature off of the Bluetooth device.
䠐Park the vehicle when pairing the head unit with the mobile phone.
䠐Some Bluetooth features may occasionally not operate properly depending on the firmware
version of your mobile phone. If such features can be operated after receiving a S/W
upgrade from your mobile phone manufacturer, unpair all devices and pair again before
use.
䠐When pairing and the head unit with the iPhone for the first time while your iPhone
is connected to the USB port with iPhone cable, error message may be displayed on
your iPhone. But, this is intended operation. You may ignore it if your iPhone has been
connected to the head unit.

䠐Depending on the Bluetooth device, the certification number may or may not be
entered.
䠐Depending on the Bluetooth device or Android, iOS phone, the message may appear
differently. For iOS phones, select [Setup] > [Bluetooth] > [] > [Show Notification].
6. When the connection is completed, the Bluetooth connection icon is displayed on the top-
right corner.

8. When the connection is completed, the Bluetooth settings screen is displayed on the
screen. When the connection fails, a failure message is displayed on the screen.

䠐Up to 6 Bluetooth devices are allowed for the registration.
䠐One Bluetooth hands-free or two Bluetooth audio device is allowed.
䠐No device can be registered while connecting a Bluetooth device.
䠐Only features related to Bluetooth Hands-free, the phonebook synchronization, the
message synchronization and Bluetooth Audio: are supported.
䠐Bluetooth Hands-free is specified only on the front screen.

1. Press [P] on the screen. The system waits for your command and displays a list of available
commands on the screen.
2. If you hear a beep sound after voice guidance, say ‘Name1&#39;.
maKing phone calls Via speed dial
Press and hold the speed dial number registered in the phone long on dial pad on dial screen.
䠐In case of 1 digit speed dial
Ex) If it&#39;s 8, press and hold 8.
䠐In case of 2 digits speed dial
Ex) If it&#39;s 12, press 1 shortly and press and hold 2.

Some mobile phone models may not support this feature.
