Cruise control
This maintains a constant vehicle speed
programmed by the driver.
1. “ON/OFF” button: activation /
deactivation of the cruise control
mode.
2. “COAST SET” button: storing of a
driving speed then decreasing of
the cruising speed.
3. “ACC RES” button: increasing of
the cruising speed and recalling of
the stored speed.
4. “CANCEL” button: switching off of
the cruise control.
In order to be programmed or activated,
the vehicle speed must be higher than
25 mph (40 km/h) with at least second
gear engaged. This detects any obstacle (person, ve-
hicle, tree, gate, etc.) located behind
the vehicle.

towards you. Pull the stalk to return to dipped headlamps.

“Side lights” or “Dipped
headlamps” position. Turn the stalk to the position required.
Front fog
lamps
F i x e d This comes on when you
use the front fog lamps. Turn the ring on the stalk forwards to switch on
the fog lamps.
Rear fog lamps
F i x e d This comes on when you
use the rear fog lamps. Turn the ring on the stalk forwards to switch on
the fog lamps.
Cruise control
F i x e d This comes on when the
mode is active. Press the “ON/OFF” button to activate/
deactivate the mode.

few seconds when the
ignition is turned to “ON”
then switches off.

The handbrake is
applied or has not been
released fully. It is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display. Release the handbrake
to switch off the warning light.

charging circuit fault
occurs. It should switch off when the engine is started.
It is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display. Check the battery
terminals (refer to the “Battery” section).

Driver’s
seat belt not fastened F i x e d The driver has not
fastened or has
unfastened his seat belt. This is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display.
Fasten the driver’s seat belt.
ABS
F i x e d This comes on if an
anti-lock braking system
failure occurs. It is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display. The vehicle retains
conventional braking without assistance but
you are advised to stop. Have it checked by a
CITROËN dealer.
Air bags and
pretensioners F i x e d This comes on for a
few seconds when the
ignition is turned to “ON”
then switches off.
It should switch off when the engine is started. If
it does not switch off, contact a CITROËN dealer.
This comes on if an air
bag or pretensioner
failure occurs. It is accompanied by a message on the
instrument panel display. Have the system
checked by a CITROËN dealer without delay.

Each time the engine is started: a series of warning lights and/or messages come on applying a checking self test. They
switch off after a few seconds. Engine running: the warning light or the message becomes a warning if it remains on
c o n t i n u o u s l y o r fl a s h e s . T h i s i n i t i a l w a r n i n g m a y b e a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l a n d a m e s s a g e o n t h e d i s p l a y . D o n o t
ignore these warnings.

pressing the INFO button on the fascia.
The symbol “!” is displayed.
To return to the previous screen (with the “!” symbol), you must press the
INFO button several times.
