4. Disconnect the positive battery terminal to rear wiper motor connector terminal
number 3, when the rear wiper motor running.
5. Check to see that the rear wiper motor stops.

3. Connect the rear wiper motor connector terminal num
ber 3 to 4.

REAR WASHER FLUID EJECTION CHECK If the rear washer does not spray washer fluid within the area shown, adjust it by
moving it.

>>A<< REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY INSTALLATIONBefore installing the rear wiper arm and blade assembly, operate the rear wiper
motor so that the motor stops at the predetermined park position. Install the rear
wipe arm and blade assembly and adjust the rear wiper blade position so that the
blade end stops at the predetermined position (standard position).
Standard value: (A) 40 +/- 5 mm (1.57 +/- 0.20 inch)

CAUTION: Use a curved backing like that shown for the backing
of a wiper blade rubber to ensure sustained wiper
wiping performance.

INSPECTION REAR WASHER MOTOR CHECK 1. Remove the rear washer tank assembly with the washer hose attached. Then fill
the washer tank with water.
