REAR COMBINATION LAMP
Bulb ReplacementINFOID:0000000001530525
HATCHBACK
1. Remove the rear combination lamp. Refer to EXL-93, "Removal and Installation".
2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to unlock it.
3. Remove the bulb.
4. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
SEDAN
1. Remove the trunk side finisher. Refer to INT-35, "Removal and Installation".
2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to unlock it.
3. Remove the stop/tail lamp bulb (1), turn signal lamp bulb (2),
and the back-up lamp bulb (3).
4. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Removal
1. Remove the rear combination lamp nuts.
2. Pull the rear combination lamp toward rear of the vehicle to disengage the pawls.
3. Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector, and remove the rear combination lamp.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
SEDAN
Removal
1. Remove trunk side finisher, if equipped. Refer to INT-35, "Removal and Installation".
2. Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector.
3. Remove the rear combination lamp nuts (1).
4. Remove the rear combination lamp (2).
5. Remove the rear combination lamp seal (3).
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the rear combination lamp harness.
2. Remove the bulbs from the rear combination lamp harness, as necessary.
3. Remove the bumper stay (hatchback only).
4. Remove the rear combination lamp seal (sedan only).
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly.

The LED element is not serviced separately, the high-mounted stop lamp must be replaced as an assembly.
SEDAN
1. Open the luggage compartment lid to access the high-mounted stop lamp.
2. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp bulb socket (1) and
remove the high-mounted stop lamp (2).
3. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Removal
1. Remove the rear hatch finish panel. Refer to INT-18, "Removal and Installation".
2. Disconnect the high-mounted stop lamp connector.
3. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp nuts as shown.
4. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp from the rear hatch.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
Properly seal the high-mounted stop lamp base to the rear hatch to prevent water leaks.

1. Open the luggage compartment lid to access the high-mounted stop lamp.

2. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp bulb socket (1) and
remove the high-mounted stop lamp (2).
3. Remove the rear parcel shelf. Refer to INT-26, "
Removal and Installation".
4. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp screws (A) and remove
the high-mounted stop lamp (1).
5. Remove the high-mounted stop lamp finisher screws (A) and
remove the high-mounted stop lamp finisher (1).
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove the license plate lamp. Refer to INT-35, "Removal and Installation".
2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to unlock it.
3. Remove the bulb from the socket.
4. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

1. Press the license plate lamp pawl on the side of the rear bumper fascia, then swing the license plate lamp
down to release the license plate lamp hook from the rear bumper fascia.
2. Disconnect the license plate lamp connector and remove the licence plate lamp.

1. Remove the clips for the rear bumper fascia lower side. Refer to EXT-17, "Removal and Installation -
Sedan".
2. Disconnect the rear fog lamp connector.
3. Turn the bulb socket (2) counterclockwise to unlock it.
4. Remove bulb (1) from the socket.
5. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

2. Disconnect the rear fog lamp connector.

NOTE:
The lighting and turn signal switch is located on the LH side of the steering column for both the LHD and RHD
models.
REMOVAL
1. Remove the upper and lower steering column covers. Refer to IP-11, "Removal and Installation".
2. While pressing in on the pawls (A) as shown, pull the lighting
and turn signal switch (1) straight out to disconnect from the
base and remove.
NOTE:
LHD shown, RHD similar.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL
1. Remove the cluster lid C. Refer to IP-11, "Removal and Installation".
2. Disconnect the hazard switch connector.
3. Press in on pawl (A) on the back of the hazard switch (1), and
remove the hazard switch (1).

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

FRONT BUMPER
CAUTION:
Bumper fascia is made of resin. Do not apply strong force to it, and be careful to prevent contact with
oil.
REMOVAL
1. Open hood.
2. Remove front grille. Refer to EXT-19, "
Removal and Installation".
3. Remove front fender protectors RH/LH. Refer to EXT-22, "
Removal and Installation".
4. Remove engine undercover.
5. Remove screws of front bumper fascia RH/LH.
6. Pull the outboard edge of front bumper fascia away from vehicle
to disengage from the bumper side retainer.
7. Disconnect fog lamp harness connector RH/LH (if equipped).
8. Remove the front bumper fascia.
9. Remove fog lamp opening finisher and fog lamp assembly RH/
LH (if equipped). Refer to EXT-13, "
Removal and Installation".
10. Remove upper and lower bumper energy absorbers.
11. Remove RH/LH air guide mounting clips of bumper reinforcement.
12. Remove the nuts, then remove bumper reinforcement and bumper stay(s):
For production, bumper stay LH is part of bumper reinforcement.
For service, bumper stay RH/LH are separate assemblies.
13. Remove bumper side bracket RH/LH after front bumper fascia removal.
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
