They come on when the engine is started.
Depending on the destination country,
they are used for:


- daytime running lamps in day mode
and sidelamps in night mode (they
are brighter when daytime running
lamps),
or


- sidelamps in day and night mode.







Programming
In countries in which this
function is not imposed by
regulations, with the ve-
hicle stationary, use the
navigator to activate or de-
activate the function in the
multifunction screen con-
fi guration menu.
The sidelamps and number plate lamps
come on as well.

For countries where the function is a
legal requirement, it is activated by de-
fault.

LED lampsDaytime running lamps

Daytime lighting, compulsory in certain
countries, which comes on automati-
cally when the engine is started making
the vehicle more visible to other users.

This function is assured:


- in countries where it is imposed by
regulations,
by illumination of the dipped beam
headlamps with the sidelamps and
number plate lamps; this function
cannot be deactivated.

- for other countries where it is pro-
vided,
by the use of dedicated lamps (bulbs
or LEDs); this function can be acti-
vated or deactivated via the vehicle
confi guration menu.
The lighting control stalk must be placed in
the "0"
or "AUTO"
(day mode) position.
Deactivation of the daytime running
lamps is effective after operation of the
lighting control stalk or after the next
engine start; activation is effective im-
mediately.

The instruments and controls (instrument
panel, multifunction screen, air condition-
ing control panel, ...) are not illuminated,
except in night mode with manual or auto-
matic illumination of headlamps.

Fitted on the rear windows, these pro-
tect your young children from the sun.

Changing dipped / main beam
headlamp bulbs

Remove the protective plastic cover
by pulling on the tab.

Disconnect the bulb connector.

Turn the bulb holder.

Pull out the bulb and change it.

The headlamps are fi tted with
polycarbonate glass with a
protective coating:


)
do not clean them using a dry
or abrasive cloth, nor with a
detergent or solvent product,


)
use a sponge and soapy water,

)
when using a high pressure wash-
er on persistent marks, do not
keep the lance directed towards
the lamps or their edges for too
long, so as not to damage their
protective coating and seals,

)
do not touch the bulb directly with
your fi ngers, use lint-free cloths.


Front lamps


Changing a bulb should only be
done after the headlamp has been
switched off for a few minutes (risk of
serious burns).
It is imperative to use only anti-ultra-
violet (UV) type bulbs in order not to
damage the headlamp.
Always replace a failed bulb with a
new bulb with the same type and
specifi cation.


Changing the light emitting
diode-LED lamps
For replacement, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer or qualifi ed workshop.

Before doing any work on your
vehicle, switch off the ignition
( Ready
lamp off) to avoid any
risk of injury resulting from automatic
operation of the engine.

Insert a screwdriver towards the
centre of the repeater between the
repeater and the base of the mirror.

Tilt the screwdriver to extract the re-
peater and remove it.

Disconnect the repeater connector.

verse order.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a quali-
fi ed workshop to obtain replacement
repeaters.

Press the six tabs and remove the
bulb holder.

the outer holes of the lens.

Pull on the very cold climate screen
using the cut-outs 1
then 2
at the
edges of the screen.
Do not forget to remove the very cold
climate screen:


- when the ambient temperature ex-
ceeds 10° C,

- when towing,

- at speeds above 75 mph (120 km/h).

Installation of radio
communication
transmitters
Before installing any after-market ra-
dio communication transmitter, you
can contact a PEUGEOT dealer for
the specifi cation of transmitters which
can be fi tted (frequency, maximum
power, aerial position, specifi c instal-
lation requirements), in line with the
Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility
Directive (2004/104/EC).



Depending on the legislation in force
in the country, it may be compulsory
to have a high visibility safety vest,
warning triangle and spare bulbs and
fuses available in the vehicle.
The fi tting of electrical equipment or
accessories which are not recom-
mended by PEUGEOT may result in
a failure of your vehicle's electronic
system and excessive electrical con-
sumption.
Please note this precaution. You are
advised to contact a PEUGEOT rep-
resentative to be shown the range
of recommended equipment and
accessories.
