Front seats
PEUGEOT i-Cockpit
Before going out on the road and to benefit from the
ergonomic layout of the PEUGEOT i- Cockpit, adjust in
the following order:
-

he height of the head restraint,
-

t
he seat backrest angle,
-
t

he seat cushion height,
-

t
he longitudinal position of the seat,
-
t

he depth and then the height of the steering wheel,
-

t
he rear view mirror and door mirrors.
Before carrying out the manoeuvres, check
that nothing and no one is obstructing the
moving elements and their locking.
To avoid sudden folding, take care to
hold the backrest and support it until it is
horizontal.
Never put your hand underneath the seat
cushion to guide the seat downwards
or upwards, you could get your fingers
trapped. Place your hand on the grip/strap
(depending on equipment) at the top of the
seat cushion.
Please note: an incorrectly latched
backrest compromises the safety of
passengers in the event of sudden braking
or an impact.
The contents of the boot may be thrown
for ward – risk of severe injury!
Adjustments
Forwards-backwards
Height
(driver only)
F If fitted to your vehicle, pull the control upwards to raise or push it downwards to
lower, as many times as necessary to obtain
the position required.
F

Ra
ise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards.
Once these adjustments have been made,
ensure that from your driving position you can
see the "head-up" instrument panel clearly,
over the reduced diameter steering wheel.

F To access the vertical position, raise the armrest until it locks.

ower the armrest to return it to the position for use.
It is possible to remove the armrest of the passenger
seat.
Removing the armrest

aise the armrest into the vertical position.

ush the shaft of the armrest towards the backrest.
F

W
hile holding it in this position, rotate the armrest
towards the rear.
F

P
ull the armrest and it will come away from the
backrest.
Tilting the backrest
Lumbar
(driver only)
F Turn the knob manually to obtain the desired level of lumbar support.
Armrest
F Push the control backwards then use your weight and your legs to adjust the backrest.
Storage compartment under the seat
Refitting the armrest

lot the armrest into the backrest, ensuring that you
position the bayonets in line with the holes.
F

ush the shaft of the armrest towards the backrest.
F

W
hile holding it in this position, rotate the armrest
towards the front. The armrest is once again secured onto the
backrest.For more information on the Seat belts ,
refer to the corresponding section.

L
ift the passenger’s seat cushion to access
the storage compartment.

Heated seat control
With the 2-seat front bench seat, the driver's
seat control switches on or switches off the
heating of the outer seat of the bench seat.Do not use the function when the seat is
not occupied.
Reduce the intensity of the heating as
soon as possible.
When the seat and passenger
compartment have reached an adequate
temperature, you can stop the function;
reducing the consumption of electrical
current reduces fuel consumption.
Press the switch.
The temperature is controlled automatically.
Pressing a second time stops operation.
Prolonged use at the highest setting is
not recommended for those with sensitive
skin.
There is a risk of burns for people whose
perception of heat is impaired (illness,
taking medication, etc.).
There is a risk of overheating the system if
material with insulating properties is used,
such as cushions or seat covers.
Do not use the system:

f wearing damp clothing,

f child seats are fitted.
To avoid breaking the heating element in
the seat:

o not place heavy objects on the seat,
-
d
o not kneel or stand on the seat,
-
d
o not place sharp objects on the seat,
-
d
o not spill liquids onto the seat.
To avoid the risk of short-circuit:
- d o not use liquid products for cleaning
the seat,

ever use the heating function when
the seat is damp.
2-seat front bench seat
Central seat
Table position
F To lower the backrest, pull the tongue under the lower edge of the seat.
The backrest of the central place on the bench
seat tilts to form a working sur face and thus
obtain a mobile office (when stopped).

Never use the table while the vehicle is
moving.
Any object on the table will become a
dangerous projectile that could cause
injury in the event of sudden braking or
collision.
Your vehicle may also be fitted with a pivoting
table.

o straighten the backrest, stow the table
then guide it until it locks.
During operations, take care not to jam the
tongue under the seat cushion.
Each time you lock the seat in the sitting
position, make sure that passengers have
access to the seat belt end pieces and the
associated straps.
Side seat
Retractable position
This position allows transporting long cargo
inside the vehicle with the doors closed.
When retracted, the maximum weight on the
backrest is 50
kg.
To replace the seat, lift the backrest until the
seat locks into position on the floor.
Storage compartment under seat
F Lift the central seat to access the storage compartment. This space can be secured
by fitting a padlock (not supplied). F
P ull the tongue on the top edge of the seat
near the head restraint to tilt and guide the
assembly.
It is placed in the floor of the front seat and thus
forms a continuous flat floor with the loading
space.

Folded position
This position allows the transport of high loads
inside the cab.
To replace the seat, push on the yellow crank
under the seat and lower the assembly until the
seat locks into position on the floor.F

L
ift the yellow crank at the base of the seat
to unlock and lift the assembly into folded
position (seat raised against the backrest)
until it locks.
Never put your hand underneath the seat
cushion to guide the seat downwards or
upwards, you could get your fingers trapped.
Place your hand on the front of the seat
cushion.
Before carrying out these manipulations,
check that nothing and nobody is obstructing
the moving elements and their locking.
Rear bench seat
For safety reasons, seat adjustments
must only be made when the vehicle is
stationary.
Folding the backrests
First steps:
F l ower the head restraints,

f necessary, move the front seats for ward,
F

c
heck that nothing or no person might
inter fere with the folding of the backrests
(clothing, luggage, etc.),
F

c
heck that the outer seat belts are lying flat
on the backrests. The folding of the backrest is
accompanied by a slight lowering of the
corresponding seat cushion.
When the backrest is released, the red
indicator is visible in the release grips on
the outer seats.

Repositioning the backrests
First check that the outer seat belts are
lying vertically flat alongside the backrest
latching rings.

ut the backrest in the upright position and
push it firmly to latch it home.

heck that the red indicator in the release
grip 1 is no longer visible.
F

E
nsure that the outer seat belts are not
trapped during the manoeuvre.
Adjusting the height of the
head restraint
The head restraint has a frame with
notches which prevents it from lowering;
this is a safety device in case of impact.
The adjustment is correct when the
upper edge of the head restraint is
level with the top of the head.
Never drive with the head restraints
removed; they must be fitted and correctly
adjusted.
Never drive with passengers seated at
the rear when the head restraints are
removed or not in the high position; the
head restraints must be in place and in the
high position.

o fit it, pull it upwards as far as possible
(n otc h).

o remove it, press the lug A and pull it
upwards.

o put it back in place, engage the head
restraint rods in the openings keeping them
in line with the seat backrest.

o lower it, press the lug A and push down
on the head restraint at the same time.

Mats
Fitting
When fitting the mat for the first time, on the
driver's side, use only the fixings provided.
The other mats are simply placed on the
carpet.
Removing
To remove the mat on the driver's side:

Refitting
To refit the mat on the driver's side:
F p osition the mat correctly,

eattach the fixings by pressing,

heck that the mat is secured correctly.
To avoid any risk of jamming the pedals:

nly use mats which are suited to the
fixings already present in the vehicle;
these fixings must be used.

n
ever place one mat on top of another.
The use of mats not approved by
PEUGEOT may inter fere with access to
the pedals and hinder the operation of the
cruise control/speed limiter.
The mats approved by PEUGEOT have
two fixings located below the seat.
Overhead storage unit
It is located above the sun visors and can be
used to store various objects.
12 V socket(s)
(Depending on version.)

o connect a 12 V accessory (maximum
power: 120 watts), lift the cover and plug in
the correct adapter.
Do not exceed the maximum power rating
of the socket (other wise there is a risk of
damaging your portable device).
The connection of an electrical device
not approved by PEUGEOT, such as a
USB charger, may adversely affect the
operation of vehicle electrical systems,
causing faults such as poor radio
reception or inter ference with displays in
the screens.

The ports allow the connection of a portable
device, such as an iPod
®-type digital audio
player, to charge the device.
They also allow the audio files which are sent
to your audio system to be read and played via
the vehicle's speakers.
These files can be managed using the steering
mounted controls or those of the touch screen.

A 220 V/50 Hz socket (max. power: 120 W)
i s installed on the side of the central storage
compartment.
This socket works with the engine running, as
well as in STOP mode of Stop & Start.

heck that the indicator lamp is on and
green.

onnect your multimedia or other electrical
device (telephone charger, laptop computer,
CD-DVD player, bottle warmer, etc.).
When the USB port is used, the portable
device charges automatically.
A message is displayed if the power drawn
by the portable device exceeds the current
supplied by the vehicle.
For more information on how to use this
equipment, refer to the Audio equipment
and telematics
section.
They also allow a smartphone to be
connected by MirrorLink
TM, Android
Auto® or CarPlay® so that certain
smartphone applications can be used
on the touch screen.
In the event of a fault with the socket, the green
indicator lamp flashes.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a
qualified workshop. Connect only one device at a time to the
socket (no extension lead or multi-socket
connector).
Connect only devices with class II
insulation (shown on the device).
Do not use a device with a metal case
(electric shaver, etc.).
As a safety measure, when electrical
consumption is high and when required by
the vehicle's electrical system (particular
weather conditions, electrical overload,
etc.), the current supply to the socket will
be cut off; the green indicator lamp goes
of f.
Wireless smartphone
charger
It allows the wireless charging of a portable
device, such as a smartphone, using the
principle of magnetic induction, based on the Qi
1.1 standard.
The portable device to be charged must be
compatible with the Qi standard, either by
design or by using a compatible holder or shell.
The charging zone is identified by the Qi
symbol.
To achieve the best results, it is necessary to
use a cable made or approved by the device
manufacturer.
These applications can be managed using the
steering mounted controls or those of the audio
system.

charging zone.
The system only supports charging one
portable device at a time.

nce the portable device is detected, the
charge indicator lamp comes on in green.

nce the portable device's battery is fully
charged, the charge indicator lamp goes off. Do not leave any metal objects (coins,
keys, vehicle remote control, etc.) in
the charging area while a device is
being charged – Risk of overheating or
interrupting the charging process!Checking operation
The state of the charge indicator lamp allows
the operation of the charger to be monitored.

If the problem persists, have the system
checked by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Operation
The charger works with the engine running and
in STOP mode of Stop & Start.
Charging is managed by the smartphone.
For versions with

when opening a door or switching off the

On the floor, behind the front seats, a
vertical partition protects the driver and front
passengers against the risk of load movement.
Steel or glass partitions separate the loading
area from the cab.When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
Stowing ringsUse the stowing rings on the rear floor to
secure your loads.
As a safety precaution in case of sharp braking,
you are advised to place heavy objects as far
for wards towards the cab as possible.
It is recommended that the load be secured
firmly using the stowing rings on the floor.
When washing your vehicle, never clean
the inside directly using a water jet.
Recommendations on
loading
The weight of the load must comply with
the Gross Train Weight (GTW).
For more information on Engine
technical data and towed loads , refer to
the corresponding section.
If you are using a carrying system (roof
bars/roof rack), comply with the maximum
loads associated with this system.

Make sure that the size, shape and
volume of the loads carried are compatible
with the highway code and safety
regulations and do not impair the driver’s
field of vision.
