Closingtheslidingroof
1.CarefullyunclipbothcoversAwithascrewdriv-er.IfthecarisequippedwithHomeLink,theHomeLinkbuttonsmustbecarefullyunclippedinsteadofthecovers.
2.UnscrewthetwoscrewsB.
3.Folddownthecoverofthelifting/slidingroofdriveattherear.RemovetheAllenkey(arrow)fromitsholder.
4.InserttheAllenkeyintothedriveaxle.
5.PresstheAllenkeyintothedriveaxle,keepitpressedandturnitclockwiseuntilthelifting/slidingroofisclosed.
6.RemovetheAllenkey.Closethecoverandscrewinthescrews.
7.HavethefaultremediedatanauthorizedPorschedealer.
Caution!
Riskofdamagetothelifting/slidingroof.
Afteremergencyoperation,donotoperatethelifting/slidingroofusingtherockerswitch.

Warning!
Whenopeningorclosingtheconvertibletop,seriouspersonalinjurymayoccurifaperson’sbodypartsarenearorinthewayoftheconvertibletopmechanism’smovingparts.
Makeabsolutelysurethatnobodycanbeinjuredbytheconvertible-topmechanismortheconvertible-topcompartmentlid.
Donotoperateconvertibletop:
–Attemperaturesbelow32°F(0°C).
–Whenonesideofthecarisonacurb,ahoistorajack.
–Whenitemsofluggageorotherobjectshindertheconvertibletopmovement.
–Withtherollbarsextended.
Avoidfrequentoperationoftheconvertibletopwiththeengineoff;thevehiclebatterywouldbeunintentionallydischargedrapidly.
Driveonlywiththeconvertibletopfullyopenorclosed(endpositions).
Whenopeningorclosingtheconvertibletop,ensurethereissufficientclearanceabovetheconvertibletop(e.g.inthegarage).
Topreventdampstainsandabrasions,onlyopentheconvertibletopinadry,cleanstate.
Parkyourcarintheshadewheneverpossible,asthefabric,rubbermaterialandcolorcanbeharmedbylongexposuretosunlight.
Theconvertibletopmayonlybeactuatedduringdrivingonevensurfaces.
Theconvertibletopmustnotbeusedwithstrongcounterwind(overapprox.50mph/80km/h).
Doorwindowsandsidewindows
Thesidewindowsareloweredautomaticallywhentheconvertibletopisopened.Thedoorwindowscloseautomaticallyifconvertibletopoperationisnotinterruptedwhentheconvertibletopreachesitsfinalposition.Whenthedoorwindowsareclosed,therearsidewindowscanalsobeclosed.Whenopeningthedoorwindows,therearwindowsopenautomatically.
Thesidewindowsareloweredautomaticallywhentheconvertibletopisclosed.Allwindowsclose
automaticallyifconvertibletopoperationisnotinterruptedwhentheconvertibletopreachesitsfinalposition.
Preconditionsforoperationofthe
convertibletop
–Theignitionmustbeswitchedon(enginerunningoroff),
–theenginecompartmentlidmustbeclosed,
–thespeedmustbebelowapprox.30mph(50km/h).Ifthismaximumspeedisexceed-ed,theopening/closingprocedureoftheconvertibletopwillbeinterrupted.
Reducespeed.Pressbuttonagain.Theopening/closingprocessisended.

1.Removeignitionkey.
2.UsethescrewdrivertoremoveplasticlidEfromtheliningfrombehind.
3.InsertAllenkeyBintothedriveaxlefortheleftsideflapF.TurnAllenkeycounterclockwise(indirectionofarrow)untilthesideflapFisfullyopen(perceptiblestop).
4.Repeatprocedurewiththerightsideflap.RemovetheAllenkey.
