ROOF BARS
The design of your vehicle requires
the use of roof bars that are tested
and approved by CITROËN, for your
safety and to avoid damage to the
roof and tailgate.
Regardless of the type of loading
equipment to be transported on the
roof (bicycle carrier, ski carrier...),
it is imperative that you add trans-
verse roof bars. Recommendations
Distribute your load evenly,
avoiding overloading on one
side.
Arrange the heaviest part of the
load as close as possible to the
roof.
Anchor the load securely and
draw attention to it if any part of
it is overhanging.
Drive gently, as the vehicle will
be more liable to the effects of
side winds (vehicle stability may
be altered).
Remove the roof bars as soon
as they are no longer needed. M a x i m u m l o a d t h a t c a n b e
distributed on the roof bars
( f o r a l o a d i n g h e i g h t n o t e x -
c e e d i n g 4 0 c m ; e x c e p t b i c y c l e c a r -
rier): 80 kg.
I f t h e h e i g h t e x c e e d s 4 0 c m , a d a p t
y o u r s p e e d t o t h e p r o fi l e o f t h e r o a d
to avoid damaging the roof bars
a n d t h e fi x i n g s o n t h e r o o f .

of objects which are longer than
the vehicle.

VERY COLD PROTECTION *
Moveable device which prevents the
intake of snow particles, which could

Normal position
T h e fl a p 2 is in a horizontal position
in the air duct 3 . Snow position
Push and rotate the knob 1 by
90° in the direction of the arrow
i n o r d e r t o p o s i t i o n t h e fl a p 2 in a
vertical position in the air duct 3 .
To return to the normal position,
push the knob 1 then rotate in the
opposite direction.
It is essential to remove the very cold
protection:
- W h e n t h e o u t s i d e t e m p e r a t u r e e x - ceeds 10 °C.
- When driving at speeds of over 7 5 m p h ( a p p r o x i m a t e l y 1 2 0 k m / h ) .

SNOW GUARD *
Moveable device which prevents the
accumulation of snow by the radia-
tor cooling fan.
Fitting
Bring the 2 sections of the snow
guard up to the upper and lower
sections of the front bumper.
Press on the surround to clip in
o n e b y o n e t h e fi x i n g c l i p s .
Remove
Using a screwdriver, lift it up to
d e t a c h e a c h fi x i n g c l i p o n e b y o n e .

It is essential to remove the snow
guard:
- When the outside temperature e x c e e d s 1 0 ° C ,
- When towing,
- When driving at speeds of over 7 5 m p h ( a p p r o x i m a t e l y 1 2 0 k m / h ) .
