What to do if ...

The residual engine heat utilization function
switches off too soon or cannot be switched
on. The indicator lamp in the° switch
does not light up.
There is insufficient voltage available as too
many consumers are switched on.
\1Switch off all non-essential consumers,
for example the reading lamps, interior
lighting, etc.
The residual engine heat utilization
function will switch back on automati-
cally as soon as there is sufficient volt-
age again.

also been deactivated as a result.
The brake system continues to function with the nor-
mal braking effect but with no electronic support.

the brakes are applied with maximum force.

play on vehicles with steering wheel
buttons (\2page 489).
\1Continue driving, but with even greater
care.
