16.REMOVE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSY REAR
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 4 screws and stereo component speaker assy rear.

REPLACEMENT

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
1.REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSY (See step 19 on REPLACEMENT
)
2.REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Disengage the clip.
c. Remove the 2 nuts and front No. 2 speaker assy.
d. Perform the same procedure on the other side.

4.REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL RH (See OVERHAUL

5.REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSY RH (See step 5 on OVERHAUL
)
6.REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSY NO. 2
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the 3 screws and rear speaker assy No. 2.

REPLACEMENT

2.REMOVE MICROPHONE ASSY
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the screw.
c. Peel the adhesive tape and remove the microphone assy.

REPLACEMENT

3.REMOVE MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER ASSY
a. Remove the screw.
b. Disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration, and remove the microphone amplifier assy.

4.INSTALL MICROPHONE AMPLIFIER ASSY
a. Connect the connector as shown in the illustration, and install the microphone amplifier assy.
b. Install the screw.

1.REMOVE SWITCH & VOLUME CASE
a. Disengage the 3 claws and remove the switch & volume case.

2.REMOVE STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER NO. 2 (See step 4 on REPLACEMENT
)
3.REMOVE HORN BUTTON ASSY (See step 5 on REPLACEMENT

4.REMOVE STEERING PAD SWITCH MODULATOR
a. Remove the 4 screws.
b. Disconnect the connectors and remove the steering pad switch modulator.

5.INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSY (See step 6 on REPLACEMENT

a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the ultrasonic sensor retainer No. 1 as shown in the illustration.
