Turning the power on
Press the “MODE” button when the audio system is turned off.
Changing the audio source
Press the “MODE” button when the audio system is turned on. The
audio source changes as follows each time the button is pressed.
AM  FM1  FM2  CD mode 
iPod or USB memory mode  AUX  AM
Adjusting the volume
Press “+” on to increase the volume and “-” to decrease the
volume.
Hold down the button to continue increasing or decreasing the volume.
Silencing a sound
Press and hold the “MODE” button.
To cancel, press and hold the “MODE” button.

Selecting a radio station
Press the “MODE” button to select the radio mode.
Press “” or “” on to select a radio station.
To scan for receivable stations, press and hold “” or “” on the but-
ton until you hear a beep.
Selecting a track/file or song
Press the “MODE” button to select CD, iPod or USB memory
mode.
Press “” or “” on to select the desired track/file or
song.
Selecting a folder
Press the “MODE” button to select CD or USB memory mode.
Press and hold “” or “” on until you hear a beep.
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of an accident
Exercise care when operating the audio switches on the steering wheel.

Touch screen
By touching the screen with your finger, you can control the audio
system and hands-free system, etc.
This illustration is for left-hand drive vehicle.

To avoid damaging the touch screen
Touch the screen lightly with your finger. If there is no response, remove
your finger from the screen and try again.
Remove any dirt on the screen by wiping with a soft cloth. Do not use
detergent.
When using the touch screen
If the screen is cold, the display may be dark, or the system may seem to
be operating slightly slower than normal.
The screen may seem dark and hard to see when viewed through sun-
glasses. Change your angle of viewing, adjust the display on the “Display
settings” screen (P. 318) or remove your sunglasses.

Setup menu
You can change the “touch screen” to your desired setting.
Press “SETUP” to display the “Setup” screen.

General settings
This screen is used for various settings such as language selection
and setting operation sounds.
Press “SETUP”.
Touch “General” on the “Setup” screen.
Select language (P. 317)
Beep on/off
Display captured image on/off
“On” or “Off” can be selected to
display captured image/iPod
cover art in the screen.
Animation on/off
The animation effect for audio
source selection screen can be
set to “On” or “Off”.
Personal data can be deleted.

When you complete settings, touch “OK”.

Touch “Language” on the “General settings” screen.
Select the desired language.
The desired one of the 7 lan-
guages can be selected.
Touch “OK”.
Delete personal data
Touch “Delete personal data” on the “General settings”
screen.
Touch “Delete”.
Check carefully beforehand, as
data cannot be retrieved once
deleted.

Press “SETUP”.
Touch “Display” on the “Setup” screen.
Turn off screen
The screen is turned off. To turn it
on, press any button such as
“MEDIA” or “SETUP”.

When the headlights are turned on, the screen dims.
However, the screen can be switched to day mode by touching
“Day mode”.
The screen will stay in day mode when the headlights are turned on until
“Day mode” is touched again.
Adjusting the screen contrast/brightness
Touch “General” or “Camera” on the “Display settings” screen.
Adjust the display as desired
using “+” or “-”.
Select “Contrast” or “Brightness”
using the “<<” or “>>”.
Touch “OK”.
