HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT Depending on the load in your vehi- cle, adjusting the beam of the head-lamps is recommended as follows.
0-
1 or 2 people in the front seats.
Ð- 3 people.
1- 4 people.
2- 4 people + maximum authorised load.
3- Driver + maximum authorisedload.
Initial setting is position 0. HAZARD WARNING LIGHTS Press the button, the direction indi- cators flash. They can operate with the ignition
off. Automatic lighting of hazard warning lights*
When braking in an emergency, depending on the force of decelera-tion, the hazard warning lights come
on automatically. They switch offautomatically the first time you accel-erate.
It is also possible to switch them off by pressing the button.

AND DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
When the vehicle is stationary, unlock the steering wheel by pullinghandle
A.
Adjust the height and depth of thesteering wheel, then lock it by push-ing handle Adown fully.
HORN Press one of the spokes or the centre of the steering wheel.

1 - Front courtesy light
2 - Map reading lights
3 - Rear courtesy light With the key in the accessories position (1st notch) or with the ignition on, oper- ate the relevant switch. The front and rear courtesy lights come on when the ignition key is removed, on unlocking the vehicle or on opening one of the doors.
They gradually go off after the ignition has been switched on or the vehicle is locked. In addition, when the vehicle is moving, the front and rear courtesy lights flash if
a door or the boot is not closed properly.
Pressing switch 1switches on the front and rear courtesy lights for a duration
of ten minutes.
Pressing switch 3switches on the rear courtesy light for a duration of ten min-
utes.
Note: The courtesy lights can be deactivated by pressing switch 1for more than
three seconds. A short press on switch 1switches the courtesy lights on and off.
The map reading lights are not affected by this and may be switched on. To re-activate the lights, press switch 1for more than three seconds.

INTERIOR LAYOUT
1 - Glove box with cooling facility This is fitted with a lock.
To open the glove box, lift the handle.The glove box lights when the lid is opened.It contains a ventilation nozzle that can be closed, distributing the same conditioned air as the vents of the passenger compartment, and three sockets for connecting video equipment. It has a first aid kit and storage compartments for a pen, the vehicle handbook, a pair of spectacles, tokens, etc.
2 - Front ashtray Pull the lid to open the ashtray.
To empty it after opening, press the tab and extract the ashtray.
3 - Storage
4 - 12 volt accessories socket This is a lighter type socket, fitted with a cap. It is supplied with current from the accessories position (1st notch).
5 - Door tray
6 - Storage/Can holder
7 - Coin storage
8 - Storage compartment The storage compartment must not be used as an ashtray.

BOOT LAYOUT
1. Stowing rings
Use the stowing rings located on the boot floor and on the bootrear inner panel to secure yourluggage.
2. Luggage retaining net Hooked onto the stowing rings, thisenables your luggage to besecured.
3. 12 volt accessories socket This is a lighter type socket,installed on the boot side trim onthe left-hand side.
It is supplied with the ignition off.
4. Hooks These two hooks permit hooking of the boot mat cords (refer to theSection "Changing a wheel") andlifting of the screen to protect theparcel shelf.
Signalling triangle* The signalling triangle is secured in the boot.
