following connections:
●3LC between components 120 and 196,
●3KZ between components 120 and 196.
If the connection(s) are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note
6015A (Renault) or Technical Note 9804A (Dacia), Repairing electrical wiring,
Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise replace it.
If the fault is still present, contact the Techline.
NOInjector 4 is faulty; replace the cylinder 4 injector, component code 196 (see MR 388
(Logan/Sandero), MR 451 (Duster), MR 423 (Thalia 2/Symbol 2) or MR 374 (Kangoo
VLL), Mechanical, 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel injector: Removal – Refitting).

Check the conformity of the injectors fitted to the vehicle in relation to the vehicle type and engine number (low,
high or very high pressure injector).
Check that the C2I is correctly entered on the computer.
Check the accelerometer shielding on connection TB1 of the injection computer connector.
Check that the accelerometer is secured on the engine.
After retightening the accelerometer, be sure to clear the pressure regulation adaptives using command RZ004
Pressure regulation adaptives.
Disconnect and reconnect the accelerometer sensor to accomplish fast programming.
If the fault is still present, replace the cylinder 4 injector, component code 196 (see MR 388 (Logan/Sandero), MR
451 (Duster), MR 423 (Thalia 2/Symbol 2) or MR 374 (Kangoo VLL), Mechanical, 13B, Diesel injection, Diesel
Injector: Removal – Refitting).

●3JA (or 38JU) between components 120 and 1067.
With the ignition on, check for + 12 V on connection 3FB (or 3FB2) of the additional heater 1 relay.
If the connection or connections are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault)
or Technical Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring,
otherwise replace it.
If the fault is still present, check the relay and replace it if necessary.

The fault is declared present after the ignition has been switched on.

Check the connection and condition of the injection computer connector, component code 120.
If the connector is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Connect the bornier in place of the computer and check the continuity and insulation of the following connection:
●H17 between components 120 and 645.
If the connection is faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the wiring, otherwise
replace it.
If the fault is still present, run fault finding on the engine immobiliser system (see82A, Access - safety).

Measure the resistance of the air temperature sensor between connections 3KQand 3SH.
If the resistance of the air temperature sensor is not between:
8623  < X < 10455  at -10°C,
1936  < X < 2176  at 25°C,
763  < X < 857  at 50°C,
212  < X < 406  at 80°C.
Replace the air temperature sensor if the resistance is not correct.

The fault is declared present with the engine running at over 1000 rpm.

Move the wiring harness between the injection computer, component code 120 and the battery, component code
107 to see if a change of status occurs (Present
 Stored).
Look for any damage to the wiring harness and check the connection and condition of the battery and its
connections.
If the connectors are faulty and if there is a repair procedure (see Technical Note 6015A (Renault) or Technical
Note 9804A (Dacia), Electrical wiring repair, Wiring: Precautions for repair), repair the connector, otherwise
replace the wiring.
Measure the battery voltage when the ignition is switched on.
If the battery voltage is less than 11 V, recharge the battery.
Check the condition and connection of the battery terminals and posts.
Check the charging circuit of the vehicle (see Technical Note 6014A (Renault) or Technical Note 9859A (Dacia),
Checking the charging circuit).
